We did a last minute reservation while driving along the Norwegian coast, and were lucky to find this great lodge. Even though we arrived late at night, the lady owner was waiting for us, and even upgraded our room for a larger one with a nice view of the water and fjord. The lodge is located on a somewhat secluded area away from heavy traffic, with its own little fjord beach. Its a great place to sit back and relax, that I hope to be back one day.

Rustic and overpriced.

Beautiful setting for a very funky, tired and minimally equipped accommodation. A step above a tent cabin. Dirty windows, paper cups, no hair dryer, no coffee maker in the room, no ice (ice machine was broken?). Breakfast buffet was very sparse, bread but no toaster. Staff was pleasant, bed was comfortable but will not return.

Standard langt ifra forventet i.h.t pris og bilder på nettside.Jacuzzi ikkje i drift.Veldig slitt og dårlig vedlikeholdt. Resturanten var tom for 2 av 5 menyvalg.Deriblant det vi ønska og spise.Forholdsvis dyrt i.h.t standard.Frokost var med svært begrensa utvalg. Vill-ledande promotering,dette er eit pensjonat og ikkje eit hotel.

Lokatie is fantastisch uitzicht over Sognefjord. Kamers zijn netjes. Putje in doucheruimte kan een enkelbreker zijn. Deze zit namelijk ruim dieper dan de vloer. Het eten laat te wensen over. Vlees werd lauw of zelfs koud opgediend. Ontbijt is karig, niet veel keus. De kaas was zelfs al op.

Utenom sesong, eneste gjest, elendig frokost i nabo leilighet uten rene glass, steikepanne og annet. Burde ikke ta betalt for slik frokost.

Fikk feil rom,men det ble ordnet opp i. Vinter og kaldt ute,men 15 grader på rommet.fikk temp opp til 18 ila natten,men skikkelig kaldt. Planen var å kose seg på restauranten med middag og frokostbuffé, noe som sto på hotells.com. på romtypen sto det frokostbuffé inkludert.men ingen middag og buffe om vinteren. Kan forstås siden det ikke er sesong ,men bør opplyses på iden,slik at man har spist når man ankommer. Ble nudler fra den lokale matbutikken.. Ble tilbudt matpakke til frokost da,men vi handlet på matbutikken. Reiste hjem tidlig morgen da vi var så kald.

Fint hotel.

Vi ledte efter et afsides liggende hotel og det fik vi. Super hyggeligt hotel med venligt personale. Vores besøg var uden for hoved sæsonen og det kunne mærkes. Men det passede os fint.

Hotell med særpreg

Hyggelig personale, god mat og god seng. Hotellet som ligger like ved Sognefjorden har et gammelt og litt røft preg med grove trematerialer ute og inne. Flere lave bygninger med gresstak. Rommet var litt lite og vi savnet nattbord ved senga som imidlertid var stor og behagelig.

Fine rom, gode senger. Ingen svarte på tof når jeg ringte for noen spørsmål. Frokosten var helt grei, ikke no mer. Alt i alt et fint sted. Kveldens høydepunkt var en pen sjø ørret rett utenfor hotellet.

Deilig nær fjorden!

Kjempefint opphold👍 Fantastiske senger og sengtøy. Deilig med egen terrasse, utsikt til fjorden og hagemøbler. Nydelig mat. Badet kunne vært oppgratert. Vi kommer gjerne hit igjen!

Vi hadde et flott opphold på Brekkestranda Fjordhotel. Ble vel mottatt ved innsjekking, fikk et flott rom i 2. etasje med utsikt mot sjøen.Vårt opphold var fra lørdag ettermiddag til mandag morgen. Rent og pent, gode senger og rent og fint bad. Frokosten var god og av vanleg standard. Vi spiste middag to kvelder og middagen var veldig god - hovedrett og dessert. God service. Hotellet ligger veldig flott til er er et veldig spesielt hotel når det gjelder bygningsmassen. Vi synes det er merkelig at ikke flere benytter seg av dette hotellet, men det er kanskje fordi det ligger litt avsides til. Det burde markedsføres mye mer. Jeg har hørt om det via en venninne. Søkte det frem på internett og bestilte overnatting på nettet. Vi angrer ikke på dette oppholdet og vil gjerne komme tilbake dit ved en annen anledning.
