Facing due west, Sage showcases breathtaking sunsets and a panoramic canvas of the sky, framed by towering ponderosa pines for a serene, natural backdrop. Sleeps 2.

When booked alongside the Pinyon and Ponderosa tents, it offers a great option for group adventures.

Communal Bathrooms: Clean and modern shared bathhouse with two units, each featuring flushing toilets, sinks and hot showers

WiFi Access: Starlink internet provided, but weather may impact performance.

Parking & Access: Guests park in our designated parking lot near the entrance.

Tents are accessed via walking paths, creating a peaceful, vehicle-free environment. Wagons are provided to help transport your belongings to your tent. RV parking is available upon request (please confirm before arrival).

    Other things to note

Quiet hours are from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM to ensure a relaxing stay for all guests.

Bathrooms, fire pit, and outdoor amenities are shared with other guests.

Bring your own food and cooking essentials for the BBQ area.

Road Conditions: The dirt and gravel roads leading to the site are well maintained but can be bumpy. While AWD is recommended, sedans have successfully made the trip. RVs must inquire before booking.

Wildlife Encounters: You may see and hear elk, deer, and coyotes—if nature sounds make you uneasy, this may not be the best fit.

Eco-Friendly & Off-Grid: Fully solar-powered retreat with dark sky compliance for incredible stargazing. Portable batteries available for charging small devices, but high-power appliances (hairdryers, etc.) cannot be used.

    Pet Policy:

Only dogs are allowed, as our tents have openings that make them unsuitable for cats or birds.

Dogs must always be on a leash while on the property, and each tent can accommodate up to two dogs weighing 75 pounds or less.

Dogs cannot be left unattended in tents, and if a dog is left alone, Highland reserves the right to cancel the reservation.

    Clean up after your dog.

While we strive to provide a safe environment, Highland is not responsible for any injuries your dog may sustain on the property. As the owner, you are fully responsible for your dog’s behavior, including any property damage or harm caused to guests, staff, or third-party vendors.
