We spent 6 nights here and really enjoyed our stay. The apt is older but was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. Beds were very comfortable. We loved having a large living room and dining room to spend time with family. The host was great with communication. Location was perfect- walking distance to downtown and short drive to Lake George. We will definitely stay here again.

Property is quite run down. Pictures were very deceiving. Only 1 very small air conditioner in living room, none in bedrooms. The apt was very hot when we arrived.Host, while they did respond to questions, took several attempts for response regarding access. Light over door not on so very dark entrance.I would NOT recommend this property.We ended up not staying and driving the hour back home. Very disappointed.

Expectations Not Met

Prior to booking this property I asked questions that were not addressed in the listing. (Currently updated).To Host: "please answer a few questions. Is the room on ground level? How many occupied units are in this building? Is the room located in a quiet location? Is parking onsite? Is it located in a low crime neighborhood?" Host reply: "It’s a 2 apartment building. And yes t Yes to all your other concerns" UPON ARRIVAL, in the front yard there was a soiled mattress leaning against a tree, several vehicles on the property, and 2 overflowing trash containers. The unit I booked along with a parking spot was on the right side of the property. I parked in said area and was told by the Host, who was present that "I couldn't park there." I referred to his text saying I could. Nope. I was to park on the street. My car was covered with tree drippings and bugs that had hatched. Not happy! From my observations, the other residents on this property have rights to all parking areas. The family living there on the second floor has at least 2 kids who don't go to bed till after 10:30pm. I had to complain about the constant noise from above. This is definitely not a place to relax! I slept on the memory foam mattress, which was comfortable. Hot & cold running water in shower was good. The a/c did a great job considering it appeared to be a small 5k BTU appliance. I did not see a fire extinguisher in the unit. This unit is old but clean, just too noisy for me. I have included photos.
