Great experience!

We absolutely loved this place. Something for everyone. We had infant up to age 90 so I’m serious when I say this was fabulous. Views were spectacular, layout was great for the family, and we loved the hot tub and sauna. We hope to return again.

Outstanding cabin and views

I've been to Gatlinburg 5 times. This cabin was just beautiful. Incredible views of downtown Gatlinburg. I highly recommend a AWD car especiallyin if is snowing

Fantastic!

House had the best view ever! Downtown Gatlinburg and beautiful mountains for miles! The house is large and so many bathrooms! We had 13 people and everyone had their own space! If you have small children bring baby gates! There are 3 sets of stairs! We used a chair to block as our little one was only 2 and not interested in the stairs! But if you have an adventurous one you will want gates! Other than that it was great! So many bears!!!

Best bear experience!!!!!

This chalet was great. The bears made it an even better experience. We do have one suggestion. The big gate was great but the bears still climbed the side of the deck and walked the handrail and came on the deck. The first time was Saturday afternoon and a few guys stayed back at the chalet and were sitting on the deck, they banged on the windows to scare the bears and they could get back in. Maybe add an extension on the gate so they can’t walk the handrail. We’re talking about making it a yearly trip. There was a couple of bear families that came around, we loved it!

Good overall

The view of this property is gorgeous but please be prepared for the drive to get to the place! The road is extremely steep and windy, you’re going up a big mountain with no guardrails and small roads with very sharp turns. All wheel drive is HIGHLY recommended! The listing & reviews did not actually prepare us for how steep that drive is. The place itself was well kept and very nice. It worked great for our large group. Kitchen had everything for us to cook dinners for the most part. The place had tons of space for everyone. We really enjoyed the pool table but you can tell the pool sticks are very used and old. We had an issue with the hot tub not heating, we called maintenance and they responded very quick which was great! I even had to call them back later in the night just expecting to leave a voicemail and someone still answered and helped us. The heating coil was out and they ended up having to repair it the next morning. But after the repair it was up and working very quickly. We had some small issues with the bathroom doors not closing or staying locked on some of the floors so please be aware of that. Also, one of the guests staying with us forgot to lock her car and a bear did get into her vehicle. The company was great about posting reminders to lock cars and doors, it was definitely our mistake but still wanted to tell you that bears are present lol. Overall very gorgeous place, quick communication with the company, and glad we got to stay here!

This property has the most amazing views of the mountains and downtown Gatlinburg! Plenty of space for our large family gathering. We were able to see bears every day and the clubhouse pools were amazing after our morning hikes in the National Park. Highly recommend.

The bear encounters were a little over the top. One bear climbed over the bear gate and destroyed the grill on the deck. Another day we had 6 bears on our deck. Another bear chased one of my guests in the driveway. Some of my guests were terrified. I think more information about bear activity should be included in your ads.

The view is amazing, all the rooms have in-suite bathrooms except for the two queen rooms on the entry level, which share a bath. Our group of seven couples fits perfectly. Parking was tricky for seven vehicles, but doable. This property has rooms on four levels, each with its own spectacular view, but be prepared for stairs. It was nice having a lower-level entry point off the backside parking area. The kitchen was well stocked, with two coffee makers and a spare in the pantry. We plan to return. As mentioned in other reviews, the drive up is intense the first time, with lots of switchbacks and steep climbs.

Had a wonderful time for our family weekend trip, although the weather didn’t cooperate at first. Fog during check-in day and night and into the next morning. We were very grateful to Teddy for coming up Friday night and fixing the hot tub. A very nice day with a great cabin.

More than enough room for 16 senior ladies to enjoy a week of hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains. Loved the fact that there were no bunk beds (we are all too old to climb). Close to so many trails and downtown Gatlinburg. View from the back was priceless. Lots of bear sightings close to cabin but felt safe inside cabin. Would not recommend grilling out as the aroma attracts the bears. Kitchen had everything you would need with one exception. Only 10 coffee cups, not enough I for 16 of us but we made due. I did not use the hot tub or sauna but those that did seemed to enjoy them. All and all we loved this place!!!! Would definately consider using it again.

The roads getting up to the house are steep but the view was amazing! We did not receive the access code to the house until after 4:30pm. When I called I was told that getting into the house at 4pm was not a guarantee and that we should go to dinner and they would let us know when we could get in. After driving 5 hours that was not the response we wanted to hear particularly when we already had plans for how we were going to spend our evening. However, they sent the code about 20 minutes later. There were frequent visits from bears during our stay which made for a unique experience. The main level floors and rugs were not cleaned at all. The bathroom rugs were also dirty. Otherwise we enjoyed the house.

Great property with amazing views! Annual trip with old friends and everyone had their own King size bed and most with their own bathrooms, which is often times challenging to find. Kitchen well equipped for cooking in. Lots of driveway space for extra vehicles. Lots of couches and seating for lounging at the house. Sauna and hot tun top it all off!! Very impressive property. Highly recommended!

Host was welcoming and informative. House was as represented, and very nice and in good condition, meeting all physical expectations. Operations management was lacking. For a four (4) day stay, paper products for bathrooms and kitchen and trash receptacles were supplied to last only one (1). In the kitchen, while we didnt expect coffee filters we did expect basics such as a hot pad, and enough utensils to match up with guests for eight (8) bedrooms.

Smoky Mountain get away

We had an incredible 4-day stay at this chalet with our family of 16! The amenities were fantastic, providing everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable experience. There was ample space for everyone to unwind and relax, making it the perfect getaway. One of the highlights was the breathtaking view from the porch balcony, where we enjoyed stunning vistas of the mountains and the beautiful valley overlooking Gatlinburg. Overall, it was a memorable family trip, and we can’t wait to return!

OMG- the sightings were unbelievable. The cabin is great for friends with 7 king beds. We had a wonderful time. Only item needed was potholders as we couldn’t find any. Other than that, place was great.

The property was very nice! The view from the deck was phenomenal!! My family all loved the cabin. Just a reminder to future guests. The bears can and will climb up the side of the decks to get to the grill. Plus double or triple check to make sure the garbage can storage is secured. Makes a mess and brings several bears. Every activity you can think of is just a few minutes from the cabin!! Loved every minute!!!!!
