The stay was great with a few minor 'tech' hiccups: - The app wasn't working or connecting to my account. - I didn't get a check-in process email and had to call for it when I got to the hotel. - The soap dispenser in the shower was broken. Thanks!

If you’re bringing kids and wanna use the pool, beware it’s shockingly cold and the water does not warm up throughout the day. It also attracts a LOT of birds that swim in the water and poop on the pool deck. The hotel itself is good, not great. Some small things that are annoying but not awful. Like punching in a 6-digit code every time you use the elevator and no phone to call the front desk. You have to send a message through the app and wait for a response. The area is underwhelming. Some cute bakeries and coffee shops (Farmer’s Milk is amazing) but there’s nothing special within walking distance. Lot of run-down chain stores and restaurants. Overall Hollywood needs a refresh and more local businesses

When exited the elevator 3rd floor reeked of Marijuana despite being a no smoking location...my balcony had cigarette butts on it despite being a non smoking location... long black hairs on walls of shower. Olivia Restaurant AMAZING food. Air conditioning was great, kept room cool in a very humid environment.

First thing, it's a hybrid hotel. It didnt work well for me! * No room service. They don't clean daily. If needed the guests can ask for sheets and towels and change themselves. * Garbage are to be left out in the hallways and they will collect. * No direct phones to talk to reception. Everything goes via sms or app's chat. There is a cabinet in the reception to take supplies as needed. Secondly the property: * the room is tiled throughout, with the grouts black with dirt almost everywhere! * the water in shower has a strong smell after a while (like its ground water or iron content) * bathroom doors are barn doors with no locks (common in some hotels though) * coat hangers and closets were inside the bathroom door. So if someone is in, others cant access the closets! * no parking. Only valet in property. Street parking is cheaper. * checkin is only at 4 pm * there was a police car parked almost daily in evenings. There's a rooftop restaurant. Not sure if they were there just to make sure nothing happens! Positives: * The people were awesome. Really nice and did all thats in their means to help * the luggage storage facility is good. Heard rhe pool can be accessed after checkout too * good location
