This Cabin was reassembled from 2 early to mid1800s cabins to form this lovely dogtrot style home. It is situated on a 250-acre cattle farm just outside of Cookeville Tn. A rustic home with modern amenities.

Perfect Getaway

This is our second time staying at the cabin and it was just as cozy as the first time. Perfect place for a peaceful getaway. The owner is very nice and we loved spending Thanksgiving here. Will definitely be back!

Weekend at the Dogtrot Cabin

We loved everything about the cabin! It's charming, very comfortable and beautiful inside. Its rural location means it's quite private and quiet. It is convenient to two (that we went to) state parks with gorgeous waterfalls and nice hiking. We also spent time in Cookeville (15 mins away) at the cute bookstore and several good restaurants. This was a perfect place for us!

We loved the cabin and where it sits on the farm. The cabin vibe with modern touch’s were very well designed. It was the perfect space for a weekend getaway! We loved this cabin. It’s cozy, so comfortable. Updated but still the feel of the being out in the country. Some of the best sleep I’ve had in awhile. Hoping it’s available the next time we’re in Tennessee. Home away from home.

Peaceful Getaway

Our week here was amazing. It is in such a perfect location. You are 10 minutes from Algood & Cookeville and it is quiet and away from the everything. The cabin was immaculate and looked better then the pictures. Our dogs absolutely loved the room outside to run and play. All the amenities that you could possibly need for a vacation are there. The view from the porch was a perfect way to start the day with coffee or end it with an adult beverage. We will be back the next time we come up to the area.

Perfect spot to relax!

We stayed at the cabin three times this summer! After our first stay, we knew this would be our place anytime we came to the area. The location is great and a short drive from anything you could want in Cookeville. When you drive up to the property you feel just an amazing sense of peace. The perfect place to relax and unwind. The cabin is spacious, extremely clean and well set up. We loved sitting on the porch overlooking the pastures watching the deer and cattle while eating our meals. Communication with Mike is quick and has been one of the best experiences I’ve had when dealing with vacation rentals. I would highly recommend Fairview Dogtrot Cabin for your next visit to the area!
