The member of staff who checked us in was a terrible. There was scaffolding access to enter the property no lighting. The car parking was not available. The room was uncomfortable and the bed was a rock. Shower was good but that’s the only positive.

hours of access through the front door (tavern) were limited, forcing patrons to use the construction site scaffolding to exit in the morning and access at night. these were very unsafe - especially slippery in the morning dew

I really liked the accommodation and the cleanliness of the rooms. The housekeeping was up to standard. The staff was awesome and so welcoming. We loved our stay and we would definitely come back. The only thing was the walking up to our rooms but it was understandable due to the renovations. Overall, our stay at Diggers Tavern was amazing :)
