The cottage features a new fully equipped kitchen ,bathroom and laundry Great indoor outdoor flow to private courtyard - ideal for that alfresco dining in the amazing Central Otago climate. Our guests constantly note they wished they booked longer.
The lounge is a cosy, relaxing room ideal for those cooler evenings - heated by a pot belly stove and a heat pump - with the home comforts of TV, stereo and small library. Free Wifi. Well behaved pet friendly. Perfect for cycling the Lake Dunstan trail and other rail trails.
The cottage is within walking distance to sporting facilities - the Dunstan Golf Course, Central Otago Rail Trail, Tennis and Bowling Clubs. The renowned Clutha River is only a short stroll for an evening fish -what better than a freshly cooked trout to cook on the barbecue in the private court yard.

The local cafes, boutique cinema, local inn, speciality shops and the local grocery shop are more or less on your doorstep! The pub is now 'Paulinas'. Within a short distance there are the amazing world renowned vineyards and orchards - try Desert Heart's platter - the best we have found.

Plum Tree Cottage is ideally situated as a base to explore Central Otago - the Highland Park Motorsport Park, snow skiing, outdoor ice skating (avail in Alexandra and Naseby), gold panning, curling, mountain biking. Queenstown and Wanaka are under an hours drive away and then return to the peace and beauty of Clyde - perfect.

The front verandah of Plum Tree Cottage is the perfect place to relax at the end of 'another day in paradise' viewing the Cainmuir and.Old Man Ranges with a glass of Central Otago wine !

Plum Tree Cottage exceeded our expectations it is so quaint, comfortable & cosy . it is well equipped with so many added extras . The village of Clyde has lovely cafes , restaurants & walks it is a lovely place to base yourselves. All in all the combination of this lovely cottage with its location made for a very memorable holiday.

Pretty cottage. Found the inside a bit overwhelming with numerous nick nacks, not to my taste. Bed was very clean and comfy and host left milk and wine in fridge which was a nice touch. Garden was secure for doggies. Handy for Clyde town and rail trail.
