Beachfront Caribbean Paradise at Colony Cove

  • Our home away from home is a soul rejuvenating jewel. A little further down the beach to the right is Le Cuisinier. Sunday brunches, an amazing happy hour, and wonderful food. Right next door is Coral Sea Cafe & Restaurant/Bar...warm friendly atmosphere, great food and very convienent!

    St. Croix has the uniqueness of having a tropical rainforest on the west and a desert feel on the east side of the island. St. Croix is known for their sugar mills, there are tours available daily. If you like to play the odds, you can try your luck at Divi Casino.

    Our beach front condo is located in the center of the island and convenient to everything. We are 3/10 of a mile from the local grocery store and just minutes to downtown Christiansted. There you will find unique shops and open air bar/restaurants along the lively waterfront boardwalk. Also, you will find all the water fun excursions you would want including sailing, fishing, scuba, snorkeling and boating, which leave several times during the day. If a little island hopping is on your agenda, Sea Borne Seaplane is right there as well with many daily departures to St. Thomas, only a 15 minute flight away!

The place was clean and well put together. There weren’t any televisions in the bedrooms which was a surprise and no air conditioning in the common area, however the balcony was beautiful and was cool. The grounds were well maintained and the people we came across were friendly and kind. The place was spacious.

I have been coming to St Croix since 2021. I have stayed at four different places. This was the best overall location with some great perks. The access and view to the Caribbean. The beach and pool were wonderful. The restaurant next to our condo was wonderful. Coming back for sure.

Super host who got on the phone with us when we got lost and gave us turn by turn directions until we got there. Clean condo with a nice pool. Beach directly off property was underwhelming, but short walk to a nicer one. Convenient to grocery stores and Christiansted.

Perfect getaway

We booked this trip last minute and had a few questions before and during our trip. The owner responded quickly and gave good recommendations. The property was clean and well kept. The beach is rocky but it was quiet compared to the nicer beaches. We will definitely be returning.

Perfect place!

This property was perfectly located, close driving distance to downtown/the boardwalk, restaurants and stores. A lovely pool and beach access. There was too much seaweed at first to get in at this location but it was cleaned up nicely when we were leaving. There are beautiful beaches to drive to though, such as Hotel at the Cay (have to pay to take the ferry), Little Bay Beach and Rainbow Beach, just the name a few. The condo itself had everything needed, was clean and the owner was easy to reach if any questions. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend to others! Thank you!

Wonderful unit

Great location, right on the beach, nice heated pool, condo just as depicted in listing. Great communication with Lizz; for example, guest bedroom a/c unit gave out - Lizz was there within a day to replace it. We do wish there was central air, or an a/c unit in the living room/kitchen space; updated living room sofa/seating would be nice too. These two things are *not* dealbreakers! We enjoyed our stay very much.

Tropical garden comfort

Wonderful place to stay. The entire Colony Cove condo complex is just beautiful. Has a safe cozy feel tucked in with other nice condo complexes. The condo itself was very comfortable, decorated beautiful and had everything we needed. Amazing pool that we spent a lot of time in. Lots of floaty toys for the kids to play with as well. Good access to Christiansted and shopping and many beaches. The condo complex little office had loaner snorkeling gear and staffed during the week. Very helpful to have onsite people to go to. Liz, the owner of this unit was so nice to work with and went beyond the normal to help us out due to our travel issues. Liz, along with Patrick, also work at the complex and take care of so much and keep the grounds beautiful. We would recommend this place to anyone that wants a comfortable and fun place to stay.

St. Croix family get-away

This condo is bright, clean and perfect for 2 adults and 2 kids. With plenty of room to stretch out and plenty of privacy too! We especially enjoyed the huge patio with fans in the evening. Lizz and Mike made some great recommendations for grocery shopping, places to eat and sightseeing, and were quick to take care of the microwave when it died. Lizz also told us about the tire reef, just offshore and told us what to watch for and helped us identify some of the fish we were seeing. We also snorkeled every day of our visit and Lizz made all the arrangements for loaner gear for us. The property has a garden, gas grill and swimming pool, as well as about a 1/2 mile of beach access across several properties. If you want to combine staying put on-property, but also easy access for excursions, rhis is a great condo to use as your home base.

Perfect stay

We stayed for 5 nights and it was a pleasure to be in such spacious and well equipped accommodation. Lizz was so attentive and helpful with any queries we had. The information available in the condo was really good and made finding different places and recommendations very easy. There was also a visitors book which gave a wealth of informatiin as it prompted previous guests to share places they had been to and activities the recommended. It was also so helpful that there were items left by previous guest that you could use - such as laundry liquid and then just replace. The condo itself was safe, secure and in a great location. It is kept very well maintained and cleaned to a high standard. We were 2 couples and it was so good to have a kitchen, balcony and lounge to relax together in. The complex itself is also very quiet and well looked after with a lovely clean pool and acess to the beach. It was such a lovely place to end our holiday and if you are lucky to find this accommodation available, I would highly recommend locking it in! Thanks so much for having us!
