Week in and around Mammoth Cave NP

The house was very clean, comfortable, well organized and located in a quiet neighborhood. The location was excellent for exploring Mammoth Cave and other points of interest.

Great Stay!

Our stay at the Honeycomb Hideout was extrememly clean, convenient, and met all of our needs for our stay in Cave City. The house was close to Mammoth Cave National Park, as well as Dinosaur World and other cave tours in the area. Check in was smooth and the hosts were accomodating to our needs with our children. We appreciated having the washer and dryer. Would stay here again for our next trip to the caves!

Perfect location for me

I was visiting family and this place was the perfect location..only disappointment was the coffee maker wouldn't work, needed descaling. When we visit family, this will be our go to!

Cute, clean duplex in Cave City near Mammoth Cave and other attractions

Owners quickly responsive. House was very clean and cute. Location near to multiple attractions including Mammoth Cave and Kentucky Down Under Zoo (highly recommend getting to pet kangaroos and emus!).

Wondeful stay

Very short, beautiful trip to Mammoth cave. Town has only a few good sit down restaurants; however, there are lots of convenient fast food options. The cleaning lady was very sweet and helpful when we went back (hoping) to find my husband's wallet. It ended up being elsewhere, but she was wonderful and kind. Would stay again!

Honeycomb Gettaway

The property was great for our family of four, much better option than a hotel with plenty of space to spread out. It has everything you’d need, we didn’t cook this trip bc it was only a few nights but was set up so all you’d need is a quick trip to the grocery. It was only a short drive to a variety of caves. It was a nice retreat back after hiking and checking out caves, the beds were comfortable and there was even a few games for additional family fun.

Suggestions

Broom would have been nice. Fence for yard also. HAPPY that you are pet friendly. Cleaning supplies were non-existant. All floors (for pets) would be better if plank.

Looks just like the pics but in a neighborhood

Pros…The place looked just like the pictures and it was very clean inside. Plenty of pillows and blankets and it has a Roku T.V. No cable but who goes on vaycay to watch TV. It’s pet friendly which is the best part and has a back yard to walk your dogs. It has a coffee maker, washer, dryer that all work. Beds are comfortable and blankets are comfortable as well. Cons…house is in a neighborhood. Not a high dollar neighborhood but not a bad one either. I would say middle class. Grass needed cut, and grass and cob webs were everywhere outside. Also shower is super slick. I actually fell due to slipping in shower and hurt my back. I am reaching out to host regarding it being so slippery.

It was perfect for the area and close to Mammoth Cave. It allowed us to spread out that a hotel wouldn't.
