Nice hotel. But poor management

Made a late booking through Expedia as the hotel guarantees late arrival an bookings. We arrived at 9 pm. Guard at the gate was helpfull but we could not get holdof the manager to confirm the booking. Was left outside for more than an hour. At last we checked in and looking to have a nice soaking bath just to realise that the bath plug does not work. We pay for these features and it is very unfortunate that managent do not check these.

Cosy and comfortable

Nice and convenient. Room is a bit cramped with load of furniture. Sink was leaking. Staff brilliant, nice playground. Worth for a money spent.

Lovely place to stay with your family

it was wonderful. cleaners came to clean every morning when we were away. has capacity upto 6 ppl. had secured private parking space. the only thing is, it would be nice if it had extra bathroom.

If you travel with your family make sure you get a room from the ground floor. Otherwise using the pool and playground is inconvenient with kids.

I had a horrible experince with hotelss.com. I did not even stay at ocean shores. I booked accommodation via hotels.com in July for December, when I arrived at ocean shores,my reservation was not found and they were fully booked. We were then booked at another place. I booked an 8 sleeper and we ended up sqeezing in a 6 sleeper, after spendibg 2 hours on the phone with hotels.com. i had driven 700km's, I needed to rest but I could not as I had to sort out accommodation that I booked 5 months in advance. I will never in my life use hotels.com again.

Stunning Accommodation

The unit was very spacious with everything in place. It really felt like we were at home. stunning time in Cape town, I will definitely be using this accommodation again.

Just the right place!

Very pleasant stay, we were all very comfortable and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The neighbourhood is quiet and hotel close to shops and bars. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel and the beach is a few minutes walk. The views of table mountain are breathtaking from the beach. I enjoyed my morning jog along the beach front during my stay The only negative I have is there was only one heater and it is still quite called in Capetown, it took us a bit of time to feel comfortable and settle after coming back from a long day trip.
