The facility itself is beautiful. It appears to be very well maintained and the furnishings are wonderful. You can tell that there was a lot of thought and effort into making sure that everything in the room was modern and up to date, however, the management could use some work.
The facility is managed by someone who probably shouldn't be managing a hotel as he is young and inexperienced. When I got there his credit card machine wasn't working so he wasn't able to take my payment. Also, while the facility is up to date and modern, and the room is on the first floor, there is a 18 inch step up to get into the bathroom. I have mobility issues and am prone to falling so this made entering and leaving the bathroom very difficult. There is a pool on site, but it has a ladder, not stairs, so I wasn't able to use it.
The the facility is located in a rural area where there are no taxis so you must have a vehicle to get around, luckily there are a variety of places on the island, far away from the Casa, to rent golf carts and scooters.
