UNCLEAN, NO TOILET PAPER, UNHELPFUL “HELP” SERVICE
Despite being charged a $120 cleaning deposit in advance of our arrival, we found our apartment dirty, with sticky floor tiles and unvacuumed carpet surfaces and even pins in the carpet, not to mention pieces of broken glass on the balcony. With a crawling 10 month old of course we immediately cleaned what we could to ensure my son’s safety. When we called to report this we received no response from the “service” or “emergency” number, (which actually are the same number) until the following day. The person on the phone was rude and unhelpful and said we should have taken photos ---- hmmm “hang on son, don’t eat that glass - Mummy has to take a photo” – Be realistic!
There was also no toilet paper or hand soaps (so add $20 to your trip cost for those!), no hand towels in the bathrooms, and the communal hall and lift areas had spillages of soap, soft drinks and even dog poo, none of which were cleaned in the four days we were there. Very disappointing!
