    In addition to beloved downtown restaurants, Bayside Cottage also keeps you close to the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, riverside fishings spots, and ocean-adventure boat charters. Take a 10-minute stroll into town over the Harbor Footbridge.

    A plush sofa set invites you to unwind in the living area. The flat-screen TV with Roku allows you to log in to your preferred streaming services. Complimentary board games provide additional entertainment options. Stainless steel appliances and sleek soapstone countertops bring modern style and upscale utility to the kitchen. When you're ready to eat, gather around the table for seven in the dining area.

    This home sleeps seven guests in three bedrooms. Sleep soundly on a queen-size bed in the primary suite. The en-suite bathroom is configured with a walk-in shower. Awesome home away from home!!

Can’t say enough great things about this lovely home! So clean, fresh and bright! The downstairs bedroom and bathroom was perfect for my older dad. The location couldn’t have been better. We easily walked all around town and the town is so great! Very quiet and so many places to eat and shop! Will most definitely be back and may even stay in the Barn!!

Somewhat Disappointed

My children and I were excited for our visit to Boothbay Harbor, and this rental would be the perfect spot to stay. Based on the listing and recent reviews, we chose this cottage. Once we arrived, our first impression was it was so cute and perfectly located! After a few minutes, we discovered that the listing had incorrect information about air conditioning. In the listing...in three different spots...under "popular amenities," "essentials," and "amenities" it states air conditioning would be available. It was over 80 degrees upstairs in two bedrooms and extremely uncomfortable, plus downstairs was not much better. I reached out immediately to property management asking for more fans. They said there was nothing in agreement for them to help. I did send email, too, and got a response on our 4th day offering to check out the place. We were leaving the next day, so I didn't respond. Luckily, the temperatures outside dropped during our 2nd night so it got a bit more comfortable inside. I have used VRBO numerous times, and this is the first encounter of false information in a listing. Others should know before they rent. Other than that...the house was clean and perfectly located. We had fun in the area!

Really enjoyed the location of this house. Easy walking to dining and downtown shopping areas. Beds were really comfortable as well, we're the sitting areas. Kitchen was shocked. Well enough for the little cooking that we did.

Charming with very handsome coastal decor. Great location, nice size. Beware though, the stairs are quite narrow and steep. There are 2 bedrooms and a bath upstairs which must be accessed by the stairs.

The property is in the perfect location about 5 minutes walk from the center of Boothbay Harbor, it is as described in the listing. The home was very well equipped with everything you could possibly want. We enjoyed the outside area and the fire pit, as well as the grill. One comment the outside furniture could use some attention.

Perfect place really close to town

Adorable home and easy walk to downtown

Loved this property! We had 6 adults and had a great time. Living room- dining room- kitchen all open concept. Great for hanging out, cooking, watching movies. Easy walk to restaurants, footbridge and shops. We had a large SUV that took up the length of the driveway so not sure how to fit two cars. Easy check in and hosts were very responsive to questions. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Wonderful Stay!

This adorable cottage looks just like the pictures! The kitchen was well supplied with what look like brand new appliances, coffee pot, toaster, microwave etc. The beds were comfortable and overall the house was very clean. It’s so convenient to town by a short walk. The 1st floor bathroom had no bath towels at all and the stairs to the second floor are steep. Those are my only concerns! We plan on coming back!
