An excellent, clean recently refurbished bathroom and bedroom.
Very helpful owners and a great location..
I would recommend this great hotel at a very reasonable price..!!
The service at the Dragonfly was excellent, and the staff were friendly and courteous. My only criticism would be that the shower could have been better although I still managed to get showered appropriately.
Perfect accomodation for our Rebellion weekend. Location was brilliant to get to the Winter Gardens.
Room and facilities were all brilliant for the 3of us. Will look to come back next year
Lovely stay at a very friendly hotel.
We were made to feel welcome on arrival and the hotel owners Paul and Scarlet could not do enough to help us enjoy our stay.
We did not book breakfast but it was there for us each day if we wanted it.
Paul recommended other bars for us to attend and helped reassure us about one we weren't sure about.
All in all we had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at the Dragon Fly and will certainly return
For price you couldn't fault it . Bed, ensuite and dining room were clean but other areas were dirty stained and grubby looking Carpet in room was stained and dirty .
Service was good and accomodating
Very friendly & warming welcoming, room had all I needed, perfect walkable location from the North Station: I will definitely stay in "The Dragonfly" again, because it is also good value for money.
Lovely, well kept hotel in the heart of the gay quarter of Blackpool.
Very friendly hosts, wide menu options that are well cooked & presented at a very competitive price.
We believe we've found our home from home when visiting the town for a night out.
Twin attic room at the top, the shower looked like it needed a good clean and it had a really musty smell, the bed was too hard and everything was a bit tired, there were toiletries provided and the towels were clean. The man who received us was pleasant and available on arrival (he let us in a bit earlier which was much appreciated) I suspect the other rooms were better according to the reviews.
For how much I paid I can’t complain too much… but I still expect general cleanliness, bedding that isn’t ripped, perhaps for the room to have been hoovered too. There’s a reason this place is so cheap.

Liked: Staff & service, room comfort
Room was a double but very small couldn’t fit 2 adults and luggage in there but had a larger than normal bathroom with a good shower. Someone walked into my room in the middle of the night tho when I believe my door was locked
I booked here a few weeks ago and it seems on the reviews a good place, do not believe everything you read, the place was disgusting, promised room 3 on level ended up on level, room 7, the carpet was filthy, cobwebs on the wallpaper above the headboard, some old metal towel rack that had never been cleaned in the bathroom, the toilet itself had never seen bleach or a clean, urine stains on the toilet and public hair under the seat which you had to hold up while you had a wee, the staircase carpet had never seen a hoover, I have give one star, and they were lucky to get that, also the mattress had a mind of its own, while you sleep on it it moves away from the wall on its own by about 12 inches, I left on Sunday at 7pm I'd had enough, Do not stay here, you have been warned, it's filthy.
Functional welcome, no real warmth. Room was very small, but formed of a short corridor where the shower and toilet have been installed. The bed was against the window wall and was not made properly and sheets not tucked in fully on the far side. The mattress felt old and only sufficient. The window did not close properly and let in a draught when cold outside. Conversely, during the day the room was too hot as the window only opens partially. Shower was acceptable, not the strongest, but sufficient.
