Great clean space near downtown. Host was great and prompt to respond. The previous tenants had broken the TV and they replaced it quickly with no questions asked. Highly recommended!

Disaster

After making my reservation in December of 2024 for the Samford University Graduation in May 2025, the owner notified me the day of our arrival that we couldn’t stay because of maintenance issues. A huge inconvenience and burden for me and my family. After much searching, we finally found rooms at LaQuinta Inn, south of Birmingham. Before leaving town. we drove by and saw a dilapidated, old house, completely overgrown with grass, vines and trees. The house we saw looked nothing like the photo. I still can’t believe he dumped us hours before our supposed arrival.

Deceiving property

There’s probably is a great location because it’s right there by the hospital, but the pictures that they have posted online are very deceiving when we got there the grass was not cut. Whoever was previous there before we were had torn up the blinds. The main bathroom did not close. We did not have an ironing board or on. We did not have dish liquid. Overall it was a horrible experience for me and my family. We tried to contact And have not heard from either partyMr.Cornelius Thomas as well as Mrs. Thomas.

Never got in contact with host, VRBO had to refund me, and I had to find a hotel last minute. This guy has 3 apartments at this one house and needs to get his act together. He should be banned from VRBO with the other reviews I’ve now seen on other apartments.
