Location, location, location…
Walk everywhere from the Broadway Cottage conveniently located directly across the street from our beloved Jackson’s Corner Restaurant. The Broadway Cottage is an easy stroll to Bend’s vibrant downtown. The Old Mill District with riverfront shops, movie theaters and restaurants is a ten-minute walk. Ride your mountain bike to Phil’s Trailhead or road bike up Century Drive for fabulous views of Mt. Bachelor. Walk to the shuttle for Mt. Bachelor Ski resort or park and ride for easy access to the slopes.
The Broadway Cottage is an updated, well-maintained 400 sq. ft. air-conditioned ground floor unit. There is one bedroom with a new queen bed as of mid-October, 2021 and a bathroom with shower and vinyl plank flooring throughout, as of August, 2022.
A good night’s sleep… The second new (as of September, 2021) queen-sized bed is a sleeper sofa by American Leather. This is the most comfortable sleeper sofa available. The revolutionary platform bed contains no bars or springs and measures a full 80 inches; the same as a conventional queen-sized bed. (Most sleeper sofas range in length between 70 – 75 inches) The upgraded “Gel” feature provides even support across all pressure points.
The kitchen is equipped with a small refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker, microwave, toaster oven (no conventional oven) and a two-burner “induction” cooktop. Induction cooktops are becoming the preferred choice of many chefs. They feel, that compared to gas, the temperature can be adjusted more quickly and the spread of heat is more even.
Other Features…
A small table with two chairs for morning coffee adjoins the kitchen. A gas barbeque and patio table that seats four is located in a semi-private patio area.
Off street parking for one vehicle is located behind the home.

Fantastic location, walkable to most things and right across the street from Jackson’s Corner! Home was as described. Host left a bottle of wine and coffee for us
Wonderful little apartment. It was clean and comfy. It’s very close to shopping and the river. We really enjoyed the restaurant across the street. I highly recommend!
The good stuff: Host was extremely welcoming; gift of wine and coffee was completely unexpected and wonderful. Can't emphasize enough the value of location. We didn't have to go far to find food, shopping, etc. Great neighborhood, both quaint and quiet. Host was responsive to inquiries. The stuff to improve: I think the information regarding operating the cottage needs a refresher. This particular unit didn't have a washing machine, yet directions initially told us to set up a load before leaving. It would also have been nice to know the parking situation before arriving; fortunately, it didn't pose a problem. TV was frustrating: cable service frequently disappeared or failed to activate. Those issues aside, I would stay here again at a heartbeat.

Liked: Cleanliness, property conditions & facilities, communication
This location is SO great! The host left us a bottle of wine and bag of coffee which we enjoyed both! We walked everywhere we went. The home was clean and worked for our small family.
Kitchen was just barely adequate - one giant frying pan! Everything was too high! Actually couldn’t reach most of the dishware. ( 5” and 5”3” tall) Shower aimed right at our heads and unmoveable. Clean, comfy bed/ sleeper sofa. Add a step stool and some newer smaller pots/pans. Location was great.

Great Place and excellent location
It was just what my daughter and I needed for our college visits and visit with close friends. We arrived a couple hours early and called to see if we could get in. Once they validated that the place had been cleaned, we were able to get in. A very smooth and accomodating process.
One thing to be aware of is that trash day is Tuesday and they start early. 5:30am early.
We did see one mouse. But, there was construction next door and that may have driven the little fella to our building.
I had an employee retreat in Bend and had two of my employees stay in this cute studio. The place looked exactly like it does in the pictures online and served it's purpose which is mainly for sleeping and if you want the ability to have snacks/small meals in, that too. But it's in such a great part of town that you don't really end up spending too much time inside. It's walkable to downtown, Old Mill and Box Factory with tons of food trucks, wine bars and breweries. It's also right across the street from Jackson's Corner. The only hiccup was that on the second day, the power went out in the bathroom and bedroom. Per their instructions, we tried to fix it by resetting a breaker but that didn't work. They had someone come out the same day to fix it which was great. Communication on this issue overall was great, but there were several hours in the afternoon where I hadn't heard a follow up on when someone would be coming out despite the property manager saying messages had been sent to me (which I never got). But - in the end, it was fixed and they were very apologetic. Check in went smoothly as well other than that I was getting nervous at not having any communication on the check in process up until about 3 hours before we were allowed to check in. I think having 12 or 24 hours notice on how to check in would be better, so guests are worried that something maybe hasn't gone through correctly! Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a great spot in town.
Location was absolutely amazing, we could walk to downtown easily. Beds were comfy, place was clean overall except the rugs on either side of the bed, not a huge deal. Maybe also have some saran wrap in the kitchen? We had leftovers and nothing to cover them with in the fridge.
