It looks nicer in the pictures. The check in process was very long. They take a deposit of 100$ for a hotel that was not very nice. They give you a code to the room instead of a key card. To access the parking lot in the back was a long process too as you have to call to be buzzed in. The room had a very strong paint or wet carpet smell. Very unpleasant. They didn’t allow outside food even tho the rooms were all stained and dirty anyways. Won’t be staying here again, it’s ugly. Don’t recommend at all.

This hotel has been in Bakersfield a long time. This is the first time we stayed at it. We have moved from the area and only come back to visit. Always looking for something reasonable, clean, convenient. Loved the old trees around the area. The entire staff was so helpful and friendly we appreciate them all. Sadie, the day hostess was very helpful and welcoming.

Weird place, sketchy as hell. Locked in the parking lot, like could not leave without someone pushing a button- no hot water, and 2 days after leaving 330 dollars worth of fraudulent charges on my card. Sketchy !!
