Perfect for the family

We used this house for our family reunion. It was absolutely perfect. The game room was the gathering spot for the teenagers and younger family. The seating area just inside the front door was perfect for gathering before going out. The pool and hot tub were great.

The best place I’ve ever stayed, look no further

Every part of this past weekend was exactly what I was hoping for. The property manager could not be nicer and more communicative. The house is perfect for large groups. Everything was clean and prepared when we got there. Couldn’t recommend any higher!! Thank you

Family Christmas getaway

Overall we had a great experience with this rental property however there were a few things that were problematic. One being that it was very cold that weekend in Atlanta and we had to reach out to the property manager for additional portable heaters due to the game room and two of the rooms being freezing cold and very uncomfortable to even remain in for a few minutes. Also there was some electrical issues and that some switches would turn on lights and some didn't so it was very hard to know which lights work to illuminate certain areas. And lastly being that the house could sleep so many people it would have been nice to have an additional at half bath upstairs since there are about five rooms and we had a total of 22 people in the house with only four bathrooms. There was a room that had a sink but no toilet so it would be nice if that was converted to at least a half bath.

House in Lithonia, Georgia

House was not cleaned when we checked in. We had to vacuum, sweep, mop, and clean the bathrooms. We could not use their vacuum because it was so nasty. My daughter who lives nearby went to her home and got pails, mop, and her personal vacuum. The garage was the play/game room with no heat. There was one small space heater. We could not access the jacuzzi because there was debris all around it and it smelled of mildew. There was green on the front porch and steps. Another add-on bedroom had a wall unit for heat. The TV in the downstairs den did not have a remote to access the TV. The power went out in the downstairs area. The circuit closet was locked, so we had to call the hostess to come by and turn the power back on. The vinyl floors in the downstairs kitchen and upstairs laundry room was coming up. This house was terrible. The host did refund the cleaning fee. I feel half the cost of the house should also be refunded because nothing was like what we expected and what the pictures showed. Pictures online are very deceiving. Please check all reviews before renting this house.

Extremely dirty

First off the host was nice. I called the host within 10 minutes of a quick walk-through of the house with some complaints and she did refund a small amount. But after getting deep into the home and trying to get settled for our three days stay The house was not up to par at all and the compensation was not nearly enough for the rate paid for this house. Very dirty with absolutely no cleaning supplies there to clean we had to go by cleaning supplies and a mop. Vacuum cleaner did not work well. 80 inch television in basement did not work. Bedding and covers were not very clean and did not smell fresh. A little black couch in the foyer Was beyond filthy along with decor pillows on bed with several stains and looked dirty. Under cabinets and every room was very dirty and filthy.All carpeting in the house is very dirty and stained.Bathrooms were unacceptable on cleanliness. My guest did not even want to shower in them after using heavy duty cleaning supplies. The mats in the tubs look like they are never removed and cleaned under, tried using heavy duty cleaning supplies, and that still did not make it better. Some of my guest were like bathrooms are just trifling. Dining room table was stained and old even the white doors were very dirty. The tub drained very slowly where you stood in water. Some blinds in rooms were broken, around the back of the home It looked very raggedy. There were a lot more issues, but I think I will sum it up here. Overall, I was very dissatisfied

Not as Advertised

First of all, we did not receive an email with check-in instructions before we left for the property and that was 3 hours prior to our check-in time. We had to hunt down a phone number and call to get the info. Upon check-in we noticed several things in the home were broken, to include massage chairs, remote controls, one bathroom was missing a showerhead, a broken (shattered) pot lid in one of the cupboards.... there were MANY light bulbs that were burned out and needed to be replaced. And as if that wasn't enough, the place was DIRTY. We had to wash sheets (makeup stains on the pillowcases, urine/other bodily fluid stains on mattress pads, we had to wash every dish that came out of the cupboard before we could use it, there was an inch of dust on the ceiling fans, baseboards, etc... And then there were the bugs we had to deal with. They were everywhere in the master bathroom, as well as the ones we spotted crawling on the wall and one of our guests FACES. Add all of this to the fact that they advertise this property as accommodating up to 36 adults, but there are literally no casserole dishes, extremely limited utensils, bowls, places, etc....and you can understand why we were not at ALL happy with our stay. I did contact vrbo detailing our issues and their response was to say that they were not made aware of the issues and to offer us a $200 refund which doesn't even cover the cleaning fee. Would NOT recommend.
