We had such a wonderful time during our winter stay! The place was super cozy, and the heating made it feel like a warm retreat from the cold outside. We really appreciated the hospitality and can't wait to come back again!

The property was in excellent condition and we had a fantastic stay. Very romantic and intimate for couples who want to get away.
We stayed it town to visit local family members. Accommodations were cleanly & cozy. Although we stayed in January, I can see this being a wonderful place for a small family to enjoy a lovely summer holiday on the lake. Owner was very friendly and easy to communicate with.
The house is clean and tidy, the owner is very thoughtful with all the preparations, he keeps a book with instructions for the house and the nearest place to eat and thing to do, it's great to stay here ! The house is decorated very wonderfully! I'm verry happy that i chose this place to have a trip with my family!!
We stayed at the lakefront house for 2 nights and everything was great! The owner was very responsive, check in process was great, and the house was so cute. Will definitely be back in the future!
We visited this property for a short stay and it meet our expectations for the value. Contact with host was easy and property manager coordinated return of a personal item we forgot which was so kind. This cottage makes good use of the space and the decore is fun. Pictures make it look slightly larger than it is and all bedrooms are open to other spaces but for our family that was not an issue. The yard is great and having the kayaks and paddle boards on-site is awesome!!! Our tweens and teen loved paddling out on the lake and then enjoying a campfire. Inside boardgames are a treat and the electric fireplace was very nice.

I really liked the area, the cleanliness of the cottage. I wish they would have given a later checkout due to the winter storm that came on Sunday but they said no. There was some ice I had to chop off the stairs on the deck to get in the door. But besides that it was nice. Unfortunately we had to leave Saturday afternoon because of the storm and no later checkout they would give to us, and missed a paid for night. I would think in the middle of winter it would have not been a big sea. You need to give grace to get grace. If I came back it would not be in the winter

No swimming which is all we wanted.
I specifically asked if you could swim off the dock and was told you can. You can't swim anywhere in this lake. The weeds and vegetation come up to 6 inches under the surface of the entire lake. The yard was a swamp. We tried to step in the water at the edge of the property and my foot sunk in to 6 inches of rotted vegetation. The dog couldn't even swim. I guess everything else was fine but it ruined our vacation. Spent the whole time staring at the water instead of being in it. There is one tiny common area about a 5 minute walk down the road where you can swim. It has been dug out and sand added but if one family is there, the water area is already crowded.
Hosted a bachelorette trip at this property and it was fantastic. The kayaks and paddle boards provided plenty to do along with a firepit to sit around at night. The house was cozy with plenty of space to sleep 5. Had a great time!
Sadly the land is water logged. Can barely walk to lake as it’s a soaked pathway. Access into lake is not possible due to excess debris. Unfortunately due to overwhelming smell of septic we had to leave. Property itself is small with little privacy.

Septic mess and dangerous deck
Septic bubbling up all over the back yard - you have to walk around the edges or you will sink up to your ankles. The smell invades the house.
Uneven deck with a hidden step down that someone is going to break their leg on.
No privacy inside. No doors on the bedrooms and you have to walk through one to get to another.
Generally grubby
The cabin was cozy and peaceful. Host provided coffee pods and paper goods. The paper goods were appreciated because we flew and only purchased the essentials at the grocery store. We were not at the cabin very much because we were visiting relatives. We chose the cabin over a hotel room because we knew it would feel more like being at home.
