5/5 Excellent

Stunning
The Gatehouse was everything I could have hoped for, and more than my 2 adult children expected as we all just wanted a 'chilled' break. The location was perfect, and beautiful in Autumn! Had some great local walks then back for hot chocolate and a fabulous fire (courtesy of son). We had trips to John O'groats, Loch Ness and Shin Falls (bonus in seeing salmon leaping). The actual property was superb. 3 fabulous bedrooms ... just loved the window seats. Had deer visit the garden which was lovely so see. Cannot fault it at all and Victoria was very easily contactable. We all fancy coming back, just wish we could guarantee snow for the next time!

3/5 Okay

A beautiful area.
A lovely spot. However a few things need updating. A wardrobe in downstairs bedroom A problem in wall cupboard in kitchen.- look at roof of cupboard. Shower upstairs not working Shower room downstairs needs sorting. A great area. Lovely outside for kids to play and roam. Surrounding scenery beautiful and isolated.

Very nice and comfortable accommodation with everything included fantastic area adore the animals that frequent the garden, Pine Martens and Red squirrels.

4/5 Good

Stunning scenery
Property was in a stunning location but it is a little dated and unkept. A few things didn’t work properly and food had been left in the oven and in the garden. Overall though we all had a lovely relaxing time.

4/5 Good

Great we base for a Scottish adventure.
Was a good place to stay and just explore Scotland from. Lots of ticks on the bucket list completed. Right in the heart of scotland you can go anywhere up north from here. Very spacious. Watch for the midges we used A.Vogel insect repellent worked a treat it's a new product that works wonders for the wee swines.
