The room is very nice and the area is great. The cleaning staff were also great. The main problem was check in. You have to have cell service in order to open the door. I tried contacting the hotel but no one ever returned my messages. I sent several from Expedia. It’s a zero staff service hotel other than the very nice cleaning staff.

I had been worried about this virtual key to open the door as I’m not very technological but it was brilliant! We were only 2 mins walk from great restaurants but quiet when we got back to the room Thank you for a great stay

A fantastic place to stay in the centre of Alicante. Beautiful clean room and a great size. The only things which could improve would be an in room safe and somewhere to leave a bag. However, at the great price it is, I understand why this isn’t possible. Thank you for such a great stay

Little gem in the centre of the old town.
Thanks again to this lovely little property for a fab Christmas break in the old town part of Alicante - we’ve stayed before, we’ll definitely stay again. Big, comfy bed and room with plenty of storage. It’s a nice touch to have a coffee machine and fridge - and we really appreciated the Christmas chocolate gifts. The property is surrounded by countless bars and restaurants (some were closed on the evening of 24th December, but there was still plenty of choice, and everywhere seemed open for business again on Christmas Day).

Cons: This property is not staffed. Check-in is Online; there is an app that lets you into the front door. However, once we got to our room-door, we had to phone-in to get the code into the lock-box for the door-key. My messages in Expedia to the property went unanswered. You cannot leave your luggage here for the day after check-out. Do not shower too hard, or too long. The shower-floor will over-flow easily, and there may not be enough hot water for 2 long showers. The water also sprays everywhere. Our bath-mat was taken away on our third day and we had to mop-up the water from the floor with our own towels. Pros: Most places in Alicante are walkable. This property is just off Ramblas, and about 1 minute from the Town Hall, and 2 minutes from the waterfront. Very spacious room and bathroom. There are coffee pods provided with a small coffee machine. No mugs, just the glasses in the bathroom.

Great and quiet location despite being so central. Well-equipped room, kept super clean. it would have been useful to have been sent check in instructions in advance i.e. to phone arrival to be let in.
