Amazing place - feel history in great comfort
This place was amazing. Just next to the Alcobaça Monastery, location was perfect. It is a fairly old building, in pristine condition where you can feel history but in a very comfortable setting. Huge rooms. Staff was extremely pleasant and useful for dining recommendations and activities.

We had a fantastic stay. The property has lovely grounds including a manicured garden with fruit trees, a pool, seating providing a view of Alcobaca. The staff were very welcoming and provided a great breakfast and bar service. Highly recommend

Very attractive historical estate within pretty gardens. Convenient location to town center and monastery. Nice breakfast and secured premises. Does not have elevator access to upper levels. Would definitely stay here again.

A lovely hotel with a warm welcome
I can't say enough great things about the staff at the hotel. All the staff were more than welcoming, friendly and helpful. The hotel is in walking distance from the monastery. It has been lovingly restored and feels more like a manor home (which is used to be in the past) than a hotel. Our room was beyond our expectations; very spacious, elegantly decorated with a very large and comfortable bed with high quality linens. The room was immaculately clean with a pretty view garden view. The bathroom was very spacious as well and included a shower and bathtub. There are also lovely common and gardens areas to enjoy outside of the room. Breakfast was generous and fresh. We wish we had more than 2 nights stay. We had to leave very early on our last day so would have missed the designated hours for breakfast. When we notified the hotel of our early departure, they insisted to serve us breakfast early which was very kind and much appreciated. The owner and staff at this hotel really understand the concept of warm hospitality and we would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it. The hotel is also centrally located, offers convenient parking but also is in walking distance to local amenities.

Lovely old buildings and next to the monastery
Amazing! Could stay here for a month. So quiet and relaxing. Excellent service, lovely grounds including a pool. Right next to the monastery. Excellent private parking lot. Breakfast buffet was included for us. Large spacious room with a sauna!
