House 10 minutes from the beach (walk) with sea view, 15 minutes from the beach of Nazaré, 20 minutes from city of Alcobaça.
In front of the house has a private parking space 2 large places.
Very quiet and cozy without leaning neighbors.

Satellite TV with portuguese channels and some international channels also.
Internet / WI-FI without traffic limits.

The small village of Vale Furado is very quiet and suitable for a really relaxed vacations.
Vale Furado is in the center or Portugal, by car you are at 20 minutes from the well known tourism centers Nazaré and Alcobaça and at 15 minutes from the main road A8 that will take-you to any part of this country in 2-3 hours maximum.

This is a 2 floor house. You are renting the entire house.

The upper floor has:
- A fully equipped kitchen (with sea view),
- 1 living room,
- 1 dinning room with a fantastic sea view,
- 2 double bedrooms,
- 1 bedroom with bunk bed (2 single beds),

This house is perfect to accommodate 2 families that wish to share a place. The 2 floors can be totally independent and with beds for 9 people and a possible extra 3 accommodation in sofa-beds.

What a great view, the sound of the ocean and area.
Loved the location, overall we were very pleased with everything, the down sides were very few and just different from what we have at home. Europeans seem to deal with less than the bigger is better Americans, small showers are fine, small streets are fine, but we just seem to like bigger and more than what they do in Europe. House was clean and pleasant, area was beautiful and easy to get around with a GPS. Streets are smaller than we are used to, but with care you will do just fine. Beds were comfortable, the sun room on the main floor was outstanding, the only thing I can think of that might improve the house slightly are to install some small corner shelving in the upstairs shower, it is small and bending over to pick up the shampoo is a pain at times. Otherwise everything was great. Internet worked as expected, TV had shows with English as the primary language with Portuguese sub titles, parking can be interesting as because of the location the roads can be congested with beach goers on some days, hey but you're right on the ocean it is to be expected. The host was very attentive and friendly He and his wife met us within 10 minutes of our arrival. Gave us keys and showed us around the house, and then were off. Loved the house and would stay there again in a heart beat.

What a View!
We loved our stay in Vale Furado! The house is really 2 apartment homes. The stairs that connect the 2 are on the outside of the house. My in-laws and our teenage boys stayed upstairs while my wife & I stayed downstairs with our teen daughter. Enough rooms and beds for everyone! We also enjoyed the big dining table and played lots of family games there in the amazing dining room overlooking the ocean. There was a washing machine that we made use of, & it was easy to dry things on the rack provided upstairs in the large dining room. The weather stayed damp most days, so this was helpful. The home was very clean & stocked with basic provisions. We were concerned about visiting in the winter as were told some houses in Portugal do not have adequate insulation, but the house buttoned up tight & upstairs had thermostat controlled heat. The only downside was that the downstairs apartment stayed very wet & humid. It never got dry, even with a dehumidifier. The walls and floor were always damp, so we used a lot of extra towels to try to soak up some of the excess. Overall, we had a great time and were glad to be close to my brother and his family, who live about 20 minutes away. We enjoyed being close to Nazaré & halfway between Lisbon & Porto. All of which we visited.

Excellent vacation property
Sergio met us exactly on time at the property and contacted us mid-stay to ensure our comfort. The property boasts a beautiful view of the ocean and easy access to the Vale Furado beach. More, there is easy access to grocery stores in Pataias and various highways to access all of Portugal. It was a wonderful two weeks and we certainly recommend staying here. Obrigado! Don and MB

NYE at Vale Furado
We gathered a small group of friends at Sérgio's property in Vale Furado for NYE celebrations away from the city. It was a perfect fit! The house had all the amenities announced and some more. We had a really nice room for our meals with a panoramic view over the ocean. The living room had a wood stove that kept the place warm the whole time. The good weather provided for a nice time in the small garden, enjoying the view and quietness of the place. The communication with Sérgio was easy and even though we didn't arrive exactly on time , he was understanding and welcoming. I totally recommend the place for quiet getaways with friends or family. Thank you, Sérgio!

Fantastic stay. Sergio and his wife were very helpful and always available if we needed anything. As it was over the Christmas period Sergio very kindly provided us with wood for the log-burner, although the weather turned out to be brilliant so we didn't really need to use too much. The house has an amazing view from the dining area which is where we spent most of our time. Very comfortable house which could be used by 2 families, one family sleeping upstairs and one family downstairs. Cafe/Bar and restaurant 200 metres away and other restaurants a 30 minute walk or a couple of minutes in the car. Nazare 10 mins by car. A really enjoyable stay, thank you.

Excellent house and location.
This was our first trip to Portugal. Having a Nespresso machine in the kitchen with pods ready to go was very welcome after a long flight in from Boston USA and the drive from Lisbon. There was also a package of cookies to go with the coffee.The house is modern, clean and neat and was as advertised. The kitchen has modern appliances and the bathroom is very clean and modern. The owner brought us a few extra blankets as it was late season and it got a bit chilly. The owners were very friendly and communicated with us well through email. We were able to get in the house early on our day of arrival. The wood stove was easy to use and warmed the house right up. We only needed it on 2 nights as the weather warmed up very nicely. The beach is a short walk away down a staircase. A bit of a climb back up, but the clean sandy beach was well worth it. We were there off season so it was very quite with no one around. Nazarre is only 5.5 miles away so a short drive to many good restaurants. The drive is quick and short along the mostly straight coast road. There is a fairly large grocery store on the way in to Nazarre that was easy to find and get in and out of. Being away from the town is nice as it is very cozy and quite at night. Full cable TV and internet gave us access to the weather and news. The grassy lawn out back was a nice place to watch the sunset with a bottle of wine. Easy to park with room for 2 cars if needed. From this house you can visit many great places to see, most within an hour drive. Lisbon is only 1.5 hours drive on the highway. Make sure you see the city of Obidos!

Wunderschönes haus in toller ruhiger lage
Es waren wirklich wunderschöne 3 wochen dort. Die sonnenuntergänge auf der terasse waren wunderschön. Würde jederzeit wieder dort hib fahren. Der Besitzerin war für jedes kleine problem sofort zur stelle. Kann es jedem nur empfehlen dort urlaub zu machen und die kleine Pizzeria gabz in der nähe unbedingt zu testen noch nie so eine leckeres pizza gegessen

Wunderschön mit Blick auf das Meer

Un peu de déception!
Effectivement vue impressionnante sur la mer et location très propre mais petits lits, petit frigidaire avec porte brisée, petite douche en haut en contraste avec les commodités d’en bas où c’est un peu long plus grand mais où l’odeur d’humidité est difficile à supporter! Attention aux odorats fragiles!

Endroit rêvé pour la quiétude et la sérénité.
Très bien située pour être tranquille. Une maison très propre avec une magnifique vue. Sergio, le propriétaire est d'une extrême gentillesse, accueillant et bien serviable. De la salle à manger on a une vue imprenable sur la mer et les couchés de soleil. Très près de la plage mais peut-être difficile d'accès pour les gens à mobilité réduite À 2 kilomètres de 2 très bon restaurant. Terrain bien clôturé surtout avec des enfants et/ou des animaux. On y a passé de très bons moments.

Haus in wundervoller Lage und phantastischem Ausblick
Wir haben den Aufenthalt in Vale Furado sehr genossen. Das Haus ist genauso wie beschrieben und es fehlt an nichts. Die Lage direkt am Atlantik ist sensationell schön, die Umgebung ruhig und gepflegt. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Ruhig und schön gelegen
Wir hatten eine superschöne Zeit in dem Ferienhaus direkt am Meer. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich, unkompliziert und waren für uns gut erreichbar. Zur Begrüßung gab es ein Aufmerksamkeiten...Wein, Kekse und Kaffepads. Obrigado! Wir haben uns sehr darüber gefreut. :-) Das Haus entspricht genau der Beschreibung im Insterat. Wir waren zeitweise zu 8 Personen, was sehr gut passte. Es gibt 2 getrennte Wohnungen. Die Ausstattung in beiden Wohnungen ist einfach und gut. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. In der unteren Wohnung, die jeweils über Außentreppen zu erreichen ist, gibt es 2 WCs und man blickt vom Schlafzimmer direkt auf das Meer. -Wir haben es besonders geliebt im verglasten Anbau oben zu sitzen und auf den Atlantik zu sehen. Ein Traum! Das Grundstück ist von einer Mauer umgeben, so konnte unser Hund nicht weglaufen. Die schön gepflegte Rasenfläche mit angrenzendem Grillplatz und wildem Garten-wunderbar. Vom Haus ist man in knapp 10min zu Fuß über eine Treppe am herrlichen Strand. Dort kann es am Wochenende auch mal etwas voller werden. Es gibt in der Nähe aber genügend Alternativen. In Vale Furado sind eine nette Bar und ein gutes Restaurant. Ein Auto ist notwendig um den Supermarkt zu erreichen. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit , wir haben jeden Tag ein bisschen Sehnsucht und kommen gerne wieder.

Beautiful quiet house
We really loved the house. There is enough space for 6 to 8 people. The surrounding is very quiet. The beach super beautiful and the small restaurant next to the beach offers delicious food. You can sleep with the sound of the waves.

Ruhiges Haus mit wundervoller Aussicht an fantastischem Strand
Das Haus ist groß, sehr sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt benötigt. Der Gastgeber war gut erreichbar und sehr hilfsbereit. Die Aussicht vom Esszimmer ist wundervoll. Der naheliegende Strand ist über steile Treppen erreichbar und wundervoll. Es gibt im Ort eine Bar und ein gutes Restaurant. Supermärkte sind mit dem Auto in ca 10 Minuten erreichbar.
