Hand built log cabin on Farm Island Lake

The property is located on an island. You will commute to and from the island via the owners residence located on the mainland on Farm Island Lake. In the fall of 1979 a navy seal purchased this property. He cut and swam every log to the island, Built the foundation and handbuilt the cabin from ground up. Farm Island Lake is known for its fantastic fishing and great for watersports. Westerly facing for beautiful sunsets, lakeside fire pit, 2 swings, 3 queen size beds and a twin bed. Complete update 2021. Pontoon, side-by-side, jet ski, 2 stand up paddle boards, 4 kayaks available for rent. Surfing, skiing, and tubing available behind our 2022 Super Air Nautique GS22 for an additional fee. Winter transportation is via heated enclosed 2020 Kawasaki Side-by-side or snowmobile.

Our family really enjoyed our stay at this property. Great for relaxing, fishing and water sports. Host was very accommodating. Bring enough supplies as there is not a store/marina on the lake.

Amazing stay!
Jared is a great host! We rented his cabin for our friends bachelorette party, the cabin was clean and big enough to fit all of us comfortably. There is a huge yard which was great for playing games and relaxing around the bonfire. We rented the pontoon (it’s in excellent condition) to cruise the lake. We would definitely rent from Jared again!

Beautiful location!

Up North Weekend Getaway
My family and friends rented the cabin for an annual trip we do every year, and had a wonderful experience! Jared is a great host and very prompt with communications and accommodating to any additional needs. The property is beautiful, and had a great time with bonfires, yard games, fishing, and boating. I would recommend staying here and look forward to the opportunity of future stays!

Much needed relaxing weekend
This property is an amazingly beautiful place to spend a weekend relaxing, unwinding and reconnecting with your family. The host was great to work with and the cabin and surrounding area set my family up for a great winter get away.

Epic Winter Wonderland on an Island
Jared is a fantastic host and we had a wonderful time staying at this glorious cabin! Everything was absolutely enchanting for our stay. Well equipped, stocked and decorated perfectly.
