Summary:
Located just a few hundred meters from the golden sands of Glenelg South beach, this cute as pie maisonette cottage is the perfect location for a beachside escape with your pooch!
The Space:
A charming cottage in the heart of Glenelg South.
Living area with two leather couches, TV, air conditioner with heating/cooling.
Fully equipped kitchen.
One large bedroom with a comfortable queensize bed, a second open bedroom area with 2 single beds, additional lounge area. Porter cot and high chair available on request if available.
The home also has a private secure backyard with a laundry including washing machine, iron and ironing board.
Sleeping up to 4 persons (and up to 2 well behaved fur babies on request - fee applies).
Guest Access:
Key Access is on site, so you never have to be stuck waiting for someone to let you in, but if you do have any issues at all, the Hello team are available 24 hours for any emergencies that may arise.
The Neighborhood:
Glenelg South is a quiet and safe suburb with walking distances to the beach, cafes, restaurants and hotels. There is a little shopping centre only a few hundred meters up the road with a Foodland, pharmacy, post office, hairdresser etc.
Getting Around:
Only a 10 min walk to Jetty Road, Glenelg shopping precinct with shops, cafes, bars, restaurant, fashion and the tram to travel into Adelaide CBD (30 min). 15 min drive to the Airport. 5 min walk to Somerton Park Tennis. 45 min drive to lovely McLaren Vale vineyards and 1 hr drive to Barossa Valley.
Other Things to Note:
No parking on property - street parking is readily available right outside your door and has no time restrictions.
Reverse cycle Air-conditioner is located in lounge room only. Additional portable heaters provided.
1 small-medium sized house trained dog is allowed upon request. If you are travelling with a pet, please advise us when making your booking, as there is an additional pet stay fee. Pets are not allowed on beds, carpeted rooms or soft furnishings.
Please note that our lawnmower contractor attends to the property every 3-4 weeks on a Thursday after 9am. As this can depend on weather conditions, we cannot advise in advance which day they will attend, however they knock at the door just to let guests know they are there before entering the backyard.
For a secure stay, guests are required to complete our simple verification process. Guests need to provide a government-issued ID, confirm their contact info, and, in some cases, provide a matching credit card. This info is solely for screening purposes and is not stored permanently.
Guests will also be required to sign a rental agreement agreeing to our terms, including verification and a background check if needed.

Close to shops and cafes and the beach. Everything we need for a week stay, clean and comfy bed. Great space to sit and eat outside and perfect for our dog to stretch her legs. We will be back when next in Adelaide.

Cosy cottage was perfect for our needs when we had a weekend in Adelaide. Clean, conveniently located to shops, cafes and the beach. And most importantly it was dog friendly.
My husband and I with our small dog Baz stayed here for 4 nights. It was pretty cold and wet while we were staying here but we managed to keep fairly warm keeping the heaters on when we weren’t in bed. We were comfortable during our stay and we thought it would be a very good place to stay in summer as it was close to the beach. The house was clean and had most things we needed.
Great little cottage. Close to everything, walk to the beach and has all you need for a great stay. Pet friendly. The only negative was unmowed back yard wirh grass seeds that get into pet feet and coat and fruit tree full of birds and rotten fruit falling all day and night making the backyard and outdoor setting completely unusable. Im sure the shade from this huge tree is lovely in summer!!

The accommodation was good with just the basic items included.
Location is excellent and. Overall it is good clean accommodation and good valued for money.
My family and I had a lovely stay. It was neat and clean and we had everything we needed to be very comfortable. The location was exactly where we needed to be which was easy. Plenty of street parking and was quiet and seemed to be a friendly area with neighbours walking their dogs and happy to say hello. Thank you for your hospitality. x
The cottage was really lovely, clean, comfortable and convenient. We loved all the original features and having space outside was a bonus. Everything went well, booking, paying and the ongoing communication was excellent. We hope to be able to book the cottage next time we travel to Adelaide, I highly recommend both the agency and the accommodation.

Convenient location, supermarket, restaurants and the beach. Parking on street good.Booked for 50 nights. Cutlery needed washing on arrival as dirty. Dooner cover and towels had marks and stains. Cheap, old and tired.Single beds in middle open common room that has the dining table in it as well. In between the kitchen/bathroom and the lounge/bedroom. no privacy as a bedroom.Minimal storage for longer term stay. Hanging racks had one coat hanger supplied (management did supply more).Couch disgusting with stains and marks all over it. Covered it with a blanket to sit on it. Steam clean offered but said it would be wet to sit on!Top sheet on the bed was a double on a queen so did not tuck in or go over the side of the bed. Management delivered more linen which had a lot of dog hairs on them so we had to wash them before usingClothes airers broken so another one was delivered. So called clothes line is a piece of rope tied to a down pipe on the outside laundry shed which we then tied the other end to the fence rail!Had to argue for a top sheet after our mid stay clean.Told management vacuum cleaner doesn’t work properly. Nothing happened.There is meant to be a fortnightly garden service. This does not happen. Backyard weeds so long on arrival. Had to request again after 4 weeks as weeds were as tall as our dog.Checking in info is a bit clunky as hyperlink doesn’t work.For the price you pay to stay here the property is not up to scratch. There seems to be no pride.
A charming character filled home with easy access to all Glenelg has to offer. Being able to have my pets relax in their surroundings was lovely.

Very poorly organised management
Property managmemt company changed their name without informing us. Consequently emails from them looked like scams, especially since the asked me to send pics of my drivers licence, and credit card!! There was no information given to us on where the vacuum cleaner was stored/hidden, or the fact that the faulty gas stove required a lighter to start. Most communication was by email, as they very rarely answered the phone. The location was very good, but we will never book with this company again.

Good location for a summer stay
Not recommended as a winter stay. The property is freezing cold, with no heater in the kitchen or bathroom. One heater will only work on half heat and needs fixing. A couple of cakes of soap would be a normal expectation; the one soap dispenser on the bathroom sink was blocked. Some attention to other details would make it a better property, such as fused light globe, missing dimmer switch. Without these and other improvements this property is not up to scratch.

Great location.
Lovely area and very handy to the beach as l had my dog with me. Also close to good dining and supermarket.
Bed very comfortable.
The only down side was the lack of heating, small lounge heater not working adequately and the split system in front room l couldn’t get to work at all. Which resulted in me leaving a day early as two cold nights was enough.
Also the cracks in the floor boards didn’t help and place didn’t feel cosy. Middle of winter wouldn’t be good.
Perfect location, short walk to the beach and restaurants. Have a medium sized dog that joined on our stay, perfect for her with secure yard.Letting company was fabulous with an item left behind by my daughter and facilitated return.
Recommend property
The property is position in a good neighbourhood. Walk-in distance to jetty road, broadway and beach. Security doors on front & back doors would make it great for summer, autumn & spring months. Stayed here before ideal for small dog.
