Serenity at the lake
The accommodations were clean and tidy. The view of the lake from the room was stunning. We woke up every morning to the sounds of birds chirping. If peace and tranquility is what you need this is the place for you.
We stayed for a week in November, very clean, very nice lake, Fishing was excellent. Great place to get away especially if you want to walk down to the boat and get in and fish! Thanks John

Nice view
Located in basement of main house, There is a tenant upstairs. Windows face water with a nice view. Place is pretty clean, I’d say space is the equivalent of a hotel room.

Nice spot
We really enjoyed our short stay. So much better than a hotel. Cozy, quiet, clean, and comfortable with amazing views! We’d love to come back in the summer to enjoy some lake activities.

Great
We really would have gave this” little slice of heaven” vacation a 5 star —but the furniture could/should be better arranged differently so as to be able to relax on bed and both parties be able to see tv (as shown in your pictures)-or even hang the tv on wall -it would provide more floor space for luggage, pet bed etc..- also a shorter cabinet in kitchenette (again as shown in you pictures) in order to be able to reach coffee pot and microwave safer and more efficiently & to have a better space prep food, drinks etc.with storage underneath- besides these couple of things the stay was actually relaxing peaceful and enjoyable. Beautiful lake and views—The host was awesome -very nice -answered all questions and very helpful - definitely a 5 star for him !! Thanks John it was nice to have met you !!

What a view!
The room is similar to standard hotel room. However the view from the room is so wonderful and relaxing that you don’t need to stay in the room. There is a private deck that is exactly like the pictures show that you can relax , cook, entertain on. The owner was very helpful and friendly. The other reason we picked this location was we were able to bring our medium sized dog who enjoyed the fenced in yard and the owners dog! The lake is wonderful to watch and we cannot wait to go back.

Weekend at the Lake
Much needed getaway weekend with my wife and our two dogs. This was a great place right on the lake with our own porch facing the water to be able to see the sunrise reflection on the lake and sunset right out in front of us. John the owner accommodated us with a place to park our boat for the weekend to have easy accessibility to High Rock Lake. He was available if we needed him. It was very private and we had everything we needed to ensure that we had a great time. Will definitely rent this great location again. 💯🏁

Beautiful lake views!
Quiet neighborhood. Nice accommodations. On the smaller side and a little dark in this basement apartment. Unfortunately it rained all weekend so we didn’t get to enjoy the nice patio and lakefront.
