"A vacation to remember"
To celebrate our anniversary, my wife and I planned to have a relaxing vacation in Bali. Before heading there, we planned to take our time enjoying the resort facilities and head out to town a bit for some local delights. However, once we stepped foot into the resort, we know we will stay in the resort the whole time. We reserved the ocean room club room, which has the club lounge privileges. It is definately the best choice ever! The club lounge provides meals 5 times a day and a great variety of drinks. The staffs in the club lounge are extremely friendly and if you need some recommendations or just want to talk to a local, they are always there to share their experiences in Bali. Moreover, we were lucky enough to be upgraded to a villa! We have the nicest butler who made sure our stay is pleasant. The villa is located up the cliff from the Kisik restaurant so the view is perfect. We enjoyed sunset from the pool in our villa and it is sure a scene to remember. On our way back to the airport, my wife and I both agreed that this is our best trip as of now and we are looking forward to return to Ayana in the near future.

"AMAZING place to stay.."
As soon as I arrived I was glad I booked TS Suites. I was traveing for the first time without my family on a girls trip and wanted to feel safe. I felt very safe at the resort and walking around the local area. Pool area is so much fun and the staff are so fun to deal with. Everyone is in a happy mood and they all greet you with a smile. Mini mart and massage across the road with a little buggy to take you down to the beach if you dont want to walk, but who doesnt want to walk and shop all the way down. There is also a chemist on one corner and a money exchange on the other. Def can not wait to bring my family back to stay. The only negative I have about this place is after checking out to come home (we had a very late flight) we left our luggage at the resort and went out for the day. Arrived back to freshen up but were only allowed to use the toilet. We could not even get a face washer (cloth) to clean ourselves up so lucky I had flushable toilet wipes as this was our only option.

"W Hotel is WOW!"
This was my second time in 2 years staying at the W Hotel. This hotel is truly beautiful, sexy, funky, trendy, classy, fun and much more. It is the best hotel in Seminyak. I travel to Bali twice a year and I have stayed at lots of 5 star hotels which are beautiful but there's always something small lacking. The W Hotel is not lacking in anything. It is modern and nothing about this hotel is worn, torn or needs repair. Everything is new, clean and modern. The location is fantastic and close to all the top restaurants such as Metis, Sarong, Sardine, Biku and Fat Turtle. It's a 10 minute walk to Bodyworks. It's next door to Potato Head and lots of mini marts within 3 minutes walk. The standard garden view room is huge. The bathroom is very big with lots of glass so it's stunning with the roof opening up. It has a sofa and desk and a beautiful balcony with a lounge and a chair. I love, love this hotel and in fact I loved it more this time. The long driveway from the lobby to the front of the hotel is stunning but it's a long walk. They provide free shuttle from lobby to main entrance. The only thing that I would love for the W to do and that is provide free shuttle to local area on timetable basis. Other hotels do that. But other than that, nothing. The staff are so friendly, professional and all my friends who were staying elsewhere would pop in for a drink and get jealous. Spoil yourself and stay at W Hotel, you will never forget it.

"Excellent hotel in great location"
Hotel is in a great location right on the beach and close to many great restaurants. Surrounding gardens are beautiful and well looked after. The free afternoon tea with cookies and cakes was wonderful and used by us every day. My husband and I would definitely stay at this hotel again. There would only be one little dislike and that is each afternoon there were no beach towels left. I think the hotel would be able to manager this better if they would make people accountable and issue a card for a beach towel which is handed in when a towel is issued and returned when towel is returned. Overall our stay at this hotel was excellent.

    Where to stay in Bali?

There is something so authentic and charming about Bali that many people never want to leave. From the warm vibe and rich cultural atmosphere to the incredible beaches, you won’t soon forget your next excursion to Bali, Indonesia. Highlights of this small island include adventure tours in Denpasar City, whitewater rafting in Sanur, and a bounty of resorts for any type of holiday.

Things to Do in the City

No matter what kind of lifestyle you like to lead, Bali offers an incredible number of activities to undertake during your stay on the island. The variety of ancient temples on Bali are a huge attraction for fans of history and culture, while the sprawling beaches are ideal for those just looking to relax. Additionally, there are tons of outdoor activities for eager explorers. Choose to embark on a boating expedition to Lovina for an up-close encounter with dolphins, or check out the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary in Ubud for a once-in-a-lifetime experience among more than 600 long-tailed macaques.

A haven for wave-lovers, Bali is also home to some of the hottest surfing spots on the planet. This is especially true along the southern coast of the country, and in the waters off the Bukit Peninsula. If you love water, but hanging ten isn’t quite your style, grab a paddle and hit the rapids on a whitewater rafting trip down the western side of the Ayung River. And if you’re looking for an experience that’s a little less daunting, but every bit as fun, Waterbom Bali water park is an aquatic escape that’s a blast for the whole family.

    Weather

The balmy Bali climate is one of the most alluring aspects of this idyllic escape. As the island lies a mere 8 degrees south of the equator, temperatures remain tropical year-round, ranging from 20 to 33 degrees Celsius with an average humidity level of 85 percent. The mountainous middle of the country doesn’t get as warm as the coast, but it does enjoy more rainfall than the outlying areas. Bali’s dry season, which roughly runs from April to September, is peak time for tourists, though off-months can be quite nice as well. This holds true unless you’re staying in the mountains, where the temperature can drop substantially.

    Bali Hotels and Accommodation

Hotels in Bali are renowned for being luxury status, though you can certainly find a generous range of accommodation on this friendly island. From budget one-room guest houses owned by ex-pats to all inclusive Bali resorts, you can always find something that meets your needs when you book with Expedia.com.au. Many Bali hotels boast water access, lush grounds, and amenities from pools to private drivers.

    Travel Basics

If you’re planning a trip to Bali, bear in mind that October through March is the rainy season. To avoid getting caught in monsoon conditions, play it safe and book from May through September. If you’re minding your budget on your holiday, avoid booking a room during Easter week or the Chinese New Year in February, when hotel rates increase.

There are a few important etiquette rules to remember in Bali. Dress modestly if you enter a local temple, which includes covering your arms. Smoking is prohibited in most public areas here, and travellers should stick to bottled water. The ice supply has quality-control oversight from the local government, however, and is typically safe for tourists.

A trip to Bali is always a good idea, whether you are out for a family holiday or getaway with your friends. Find your next Bali accommodation right here on Expedia.com.au, where you can choose from over 2336 hotels. Bali is calling your name, so book today and get ready for your next Bali Holiday.
