Staff generally not friendly as we have become accustomed to from Balinese in the hospitality industry.
Pool staff were not friendly or engaging . No atmosphere at pool bar. Food at hotel restaurants including room service was poor. Staff at daily breakfast were grumpy.
Kids club was dark dingy not inviting or offered to families.
Reception staff, and concierge staff were friendly . Notably few staff could speak English and communication was significantly more difficult than on other many trips to Bali. We had interconnecting rooms which was a major criteria for us. Rooms were large but very dated and poor maintenance. Handrail on balcony very loose and fixings corroded. Extreamly dangerous, particularly for kids. WiFi , near non existent in room, despite several calls for it to be addressed. This was particularly frustrating, particularly given poor communication. Position was good and close to shopping malls and water bomb.Noise transference between rooms and upper and lower levels was very noticeable and made it difficult to have an uninterrupted sleep. Resorted to using rear plugs for most nights. Difficult to review this property seems to have so much more potential and left us disappointed.
