Lembongan Island is an upscale neighbourhood that's popular for its restaurants. Part of the neighbourhood's charm is its friendly people. Many visitors come to bask in its beautiful outdoor settings, namely the sea, beaches, and island views. Lembongan Island's hotels make a great home base for venturing out into the greater Nusa Penida area.
Top attractions include the area's temples and much more. Sights like Suar Gallery, Bali Theatre, and Nyoman Gunarsa Museum offer insight into the local culture. Crystal Bay, Watu Klotok Temple, and Goa Lawah Temple are some local landmarks. Bali Marine and Safari Park, Bali Fun World, and Bali Orchid Garden are family favourites.
Surfing, boating, and diving await you in and on the water. Soak up some sun at Nusa Lembongan Beach, Goa Lawah Beach, and Cucukan Beach. Local parks like Bali Bird Park, Batur Geopark, and Ubud Monkey Forest are peaceful spots. If you have some more time, pay a visit to Blue Corner, Organic Lembongan Spa, or Padangbai Pier.
A couple of the most popular attractions in the area are Sanur Beach and Nusa Dua Beach. Mangrove Point, Keramas Beach, and Market will also leave an impression.
Denpasar (DPS-Ngurah Rai Intl.) is the closest major airport, 32.2 km (20 miles) from Lembongan Island.
