“No curtains!!”

The Queens Head at Iron Cross in Evesham is not to be recommended to the weary traveller, especially if you are in the attic bedroom. Pull down the blinds on the velux windows and they fall to dust in your hands - i.e. no blinds on the windows so the sunrise wakes you up! There were queues for the bathroom and the landlord was nowhere to be seen before 9am, so I left without breakfast and handed the key to another guest. In spite of a friendly welcome, not a place to be recommended for the night.
