“Best place to stay outside of London--truly far from the madding crowd if you know what I mean”

This Hotel is truly a resort as it is called. The best place to see England at it's best. The suite's are truly presidential, the environment is truly country yet modern and classy. At Walton Hall the suites/rooms connect the present to the past through the architecture and the amenities.The workers were extremely polite friendlyand helpful. Can't wait to go back indeed!

Area recommendations
Strafford upon Avon-- William Shakespear's birthplace and also an English Castle. We visited an 1800's Methodist Church/cemetary at the Barcelo premises. Transportation is a little challenging however it does not cost too much to the Warwick Bus/Train station from where you can take an express bus to Heathrow London airport or if you prefer take train to Birmingham or Paddington to London. Taxis will take you anywhere but it can be expensive.The Buses and the Trains are infrequent on Sundays but you can still get around if you plan ahead. You can purchase your tickets on line.However you have to pay for internet service around the Barcelo resort area.(free wifi only in London)Great place for family vacation
