This hotel is ideally and centrally located. The efficient (20 minute) Skytrain from the airport arrives indoors to the Pacific Centre mall where the hotel is located. Easy walk to Canada Place, Seabus, and Gastown. About a 20 min walk and a short ferry to Granville Island. The concierge was very helpful with directions and dinner reservations. The hotel's "Yew" restaurant has a modern decor and interesting dishes such as an appetizer called "Lobster Poutine". Dinner for two was a bit expensive, but this is Vancouver, after all. The only complaint is the Yew is a bit noisy, likely because of the open concept.

I always stay at this hotel when I visit Vancouver. The house keeping service is very efficient. The room is super comfortable as well.

Though the hotel looks old from its appearance, the staffs are professtional and friendly. It's still a really five-star hotel. We are very happy to stay there druing our trip!!!
