“Ok for a race weekend stay”

Older hotel which was kept clean. The staff was very friendly. Ok for a race weekend stay for the price. "We got what we paid for"

“Travelodge/super8 Bristol TN”

Room was comfortable. Sheets were stained. Blankets had holes. Pool was run down. Staff very courteous.

“Good Weekend Stay”

Hotel itself was perfectly okay.Room and Bathroom were clean. Staff was friendly. There is a Bar and Grill and the end of the motel. However, the bed was so hard that I felt like sleeping on the ground would have been more comfortable. But, for the price of the hotel, I felt like I got my moneys worth. It was great for a weekend stay.

“Disapointed”

The internet connection was spotty, sometimes I could not get on line. When they did came in to clean the room, which was ok, they did not give me more shampoo or soap.

I have stayed in much better hotels, but this wasn't the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. The room was reasonably clean, but the bed clothes were very worn. TV was old and fuzzy. The heat wasn't at full function. The outside trim was cracked and peeling. The staff there was very nice.

“Did not order BUGS and SPIDERS.”

The price of this hotel was good, but the building was crumbling down. The room inside was sort of clean but WELL USED, no repair or maintenance in a very long time. And I do not remember ordering live BUGS and SPIDERS either. I understand that one or two of these problems exist at other places, but not ALL AT ONE PLACE that charges $XX.XX per nite. Won't stay there again.

“Avoid Travelodge at all cost....Beware of Expedia too...”

When we arrived, we were told sorry, we do not have a room with a king bed left...we booked the room over 5 wks prior with a king size bed and non smoking. Ok, no big deal.... So we get to the room and there's the queen bed with an ashtray on the nightstand (guess they forgot to remove it) Seems as though the only difference between smoking and nonsmoking is ash trays...never mind the stench of smoke in the room that we had to breathe all night long as we tried to sleep. On top of all that the HVAC unit was rediculously noisy, but that wasn't too bad, it would only run 5 minutes at a time before shutting down at which point you had to get up, shut the unit off and turn ot back on so it would work again. You would think that would be enough to satify anybody, but when we got up in the morning to head out for the day, we had the pleasure of spending time in the bathroom and shower that appeared to have the remnants of at least the past dozen or so visitors all over the floor and in the tub...you know I'm talking about hair and soap scum, etc don't ya. As the sun came up and the room lightened up, that's when my wife noticed dead bugs throuhout the room including in the bed. My wife and I travel an average amount and experience these things from time to time, but never have we seen it all in one place before. We booked 2 nighst but we were repulsed so much, we couldn't bear to stay the 2nd. Travelodge offered NO help at all and Expedia offered coupons on our next stay WHAT?
