“Will definately return on next visit to Zakopane”

Our first visit to Zakopanewas made more enjoyable by this hotel. The standard was excellent throughout our stay, our room was large, comfortable and airy, and the decor was superb. We also were impressed with the heated bathroom floor, which would prove to be beneficial for those staying at this hotel during the winter and sking seaon. Staff very attentive and the standard of the food was excellent especially the choices for breakfast.

“Very comfortable hotel”

Nice, bed and bathroom including large bathtub. CNN and Sky on the TV. Large bedroom with high ceilings and 4 windows on 2 sides so very light. Small safe in cupboard. Good breakfast including freshly cooked hot breakfast. Hotel opposite bus stop from Krakow. Takes just 2 hours and costs 15 zlt. Only downside is approx 10 mins walk from main high street with all the shops and kiosks. But it does mean it's quieter. Also would be a fair distance from ski slopes if going in the winter.

“Amazing Spa Destination”

A spa in Zakopane, Poland? YES ... among the best! The Villa Marilor Hotel is the absolute "find of the decade" for outstanding spa services, exceptional dining, and service fit for Royalty. The sheets were of the finest quality Swiss cotton, the duvet and pillows were the softest I've ever had, the bathroom absolutely modern and fitted out like a 5 star hotel in Paris. I travel all over the globe to experience spa services and fine hotels and I put the Villa Marilor among the tops on my list. (Please be considerate and do not bring your children unless they are well behaved; this is an atmosphere of serenity). Only negative: getting there. From Krakow, I took a car & driver and it was about 2 hours. Was it worth it? Absolutely. But my trip to Krakow took 36 hours by plane, so go figure.

“My wedding experience”

My wife and I from Chicago chose to celebrate our wedding in Zakopane. The generous space around the two Marillor buildings, the rocky paved road curving through tall trees, and the distant fence with the remote controlled at the entrance provided the proper ambiance for our unique event. Here you cannot experience the cramped traffic and commercial feeling of a hotel with a 100 rooms surrounded by parking lots. The interior is stylized to match the natural ambiance. Large rooms, tall ceilings, ample furniture and well-maintained bathrooms were all part of the treat at a reasonable price. When it comes to staff, each employee speaks at least one foreign language to include one member we met at the front desk who was fluent in English, French and Italian. The manager surprised us with a free upgrade to an apartment with double exit doors. I was worried how everything would look like because all the arrangements were dealt with over long-distance phone conversations from Chicago. The wedding table accommodated the multicultural participation of 50 people who were handed out 9 courses of food pronto served in the parlor/dining area of this villa during 5-6 hours of wedding entertainment. The breakfast in the morning measured up the very wedding courses that we carefully selected to provide diversity and fulfill everybody’s bon-appetite. We had a tip-top experience in a polish entourage that effectively managed the cosmopolitanism, traditionalism and polarity of all our guests.

“The perfect place to stay”

Hotel Villa Marilor is an exceptional place to stay. It is set back from the road in attractive grounds and is almost opposite the bus station and taxi rank. There are a few shops close by and the main town is only ten minutes walk away. The decorative order is first class and the room we stayed in, which was in the new building, was huge and had two balconies. The soft drinks mini bar was re-stocked daily with water, fruit juice and snacks, included in the price. The bed was really comfortable and the room also had a sofa and table. All of the hotel was immaculate and it was really clean everywhere. The staff all spoke English very well and nothing was too much trouble for them. The Reception staff, in particular, were second to none. The breakfast was excellent and choice endless.

“Villa Marilor, great value for convenient location, quiet and upscale”

The Hotel Villa Marilor was perfect for my needs. It's just a block or so from the bus station but away from the loud crowds in city center (though that is a close enough walk -- about 5 blocks). Excellent facilities, including tennis court, swimming pool and spa. Breakfast, too, was extremely satisfactory. I found it to be an excellent value and a cut above, service-wise, most of the other places I've stayed throughout Europe.

“A Hotel With Class and the Charm of Home”

This was the best hotel that we stayed at in Poland, maybe even anywhere in the world. This hotel is at the same level as the Le Royal Meridien in Warsaw. The room was beautiful and offers a wonderful view of the mountains. The service is first class and the restaurant and bar prices on site were quite reasonable. It also included free full breakfast for each night's stay. Internet was free, wired in the room and wireless in the bar area. The location of this hotel is conveniently located across the street from the bus and train stations and is only a 5 minute walk to the main strip. Transportation to the mountains is very inexpensive and can be acquired by bus very close to the hotel. The hotel can be described as charming with a taste of home. I highly encourage you to visit Zakopane, Poland and to stay at this hotel. You will not be disappointed. A star rating of three and a half does not do justice for this hotel.

“Intimate villa with incredible spa”

Absolutely loved staying at this villa, the spa is truly incredible. We were there on an off season Sunday night, had the entire villa pretty much to our own, with a full team of staff and the incredible swimming pool, sauna, steam room... The breakfast is in a very nice setting, it was a great memorable experience.
