“Give it a try!”

Although the maintenance and decor of Coxley Vineyard requires some attention as it is very dated you could almost forgive it anything as the breakfast was superb and the manager was very friendly, informative and extremely helpful. The location was very peaceful and there were many places to visit within reach. We would have no problem with staying there again in the future.

“Ideal Location”

Conveniently situated in its' own grounds just 2 miles from the city of Wells on the edge of Coxley in the Somerset countryside with views towards Glastonbury Tor. The main restaurant was closed for a wedding the next day but we had dinner in a smaller dining room which was also used for breakfast. Food was very good and service attentive.

“Only in the summer months!!”

The room had been nice in its day but was tired and a bit shabby...stained carpets, sad looking drapes on the four-poster, well worn bedding etc Despite the radiators being at full blast it was FREEZING COLD and we had to put more clothes on to go to bed!! Breakfast was quite reasonable but a visit in the summer months might be more comfortable. No one there for check-out or to ask how we enjoyed the stay or take back the key!!
