“Unique life experience”

Half my friends will hate it, and half my friends will feel their lives transformed. The experience will reward you if you are willing to immerse yourself and let go of tourist mindsets. There is no hot water, air conditioning or internet. There is a sense of belonging, spiritual calm and caring that cannot be found in most commercial endeavours. Sudaji guest house is designed from the ground up to break away from the traditional tourist model. You come to stay as part of a family. The sharing is both ways. Although the staff make evory effort to accomodate your wishes, you will find a wealth of new and different things to experience if you let go of your demands, and follow their lead. You will taste, hear, feel and engage with a traditional Balinese community as a close insider, following conversations and quitidian rhythms that are set by Bali. You will blend into a humble state of learning as every adventure redefines what you came here expecting. I am reluctant to praise this experience too highly because part of the ability to deliver such an experience is the constrained capacity. If too many people find out about it, it may just be ruined by success. All the staff and the owner have years of experience in the mainstream tourist and travel industries. They have all seen that world and decided to create something else. They have succeeded!
