“Lovely stay in southern Tuscany”

We loved our stay at Locanda Toscanini. The hotel is beautifully decorated down to the smallest detail. It's comfortable, and the staff, Linda and Kristina, were friendly and helpful. Piazze is a small town but very neat, clean, and cared for and in a beautiful valley. We ate at the adjacent excellent, new Ristorante Toscanini, where the owners treated us with special attention. The hotel is in a great location in southern Tuscany, accessible to the more-traveled tourist centers of Montepulciano and Pienza, but closer to the undiscovered Tuscany of Cetona, Sarteano, and San Casciano dei Bagni.

We spent our first night in Italy here. From the moment we entered the hotel, we were welcomed by hosts who ensured that we had a great stay. Their pride in the building is obvious. The hotel itself is charming and great care has been taken to maintain the integrity and the history of the building while providing a modern and comfortable facility. We will return and will highly recommend Locanda Toscanini.
