“Beautiful Inverness”

Although Highland B&B was not aesthetically pleasing, the staff more than made up for what the place lacked in beauty. We were within walking distance to High St, Mall shopping, pubs, clubs and the amazing Ness River. The Staff were warm and willing to aid with whatever we needed.

“Would stay there again...”

Really close to the main shopping/tourist/ train area, just a couple blocks and a set of stairs. If you have a ton of bags then i'd take a cab to and from the train station. The breakfast options were cereal, toast, fruit, eggs, breakfast meats, and black pudding. The rooms had cable, tea, coffee, snacks, soap/shampoo, clean sheets, and private bathroom. The lady running the place is very friendly. She let me borrow some tape to ship a package and offered to dry my clothes when i came in from a rainy day. The check in time is 2pm, but she let us drop off our bags when we arrived at 7am. Overall, the place is a nice quite b&b. If you are looking for something that is expensive or amazing, then this isn't your place. But if you are looking for something that is clean, comfortable, and easy then I would recommend staying here. PS: Everything in Inverness seems to close between 5 and 6 pm (except for dinner places) so get your shopping done by 5. Also the info station is great and right!!!

No wardrobe but coat hooks on back of door and no coat hangers however we were only there for the night so no real p[roblem for us.

“Big disappointment”

When I booked the room, I was not expecting luxury for the cost. With a three star rating, however, I expected a decent room and bed, a couple of hot breakfast options and a modicum of service. The room had small bunk beds (sized for children) and furniture that was falling apart. The chair in the room was a folding lawn chair, which is not what one would expect. The breakfast was continental with limited choices and the only things hot or warm were the toast I made myself and the coffee I poured yourself. Self-service and continental breakfast are fine, but the information at the time of booking indicated a full breakfast. This place should not be considered as a bed and breakfast as it really is a hostel.

“Stay well clear of this place, horrible place to stay.”

I was totally disgusted in this bed and breakfast and will never go there again. Everything was horrible from the service we received when we arrived to a horrible dirty room which didn't even have floor space to put our cases. Breakfast was nothing but a joke with the cheapest brands of everything from bread to condiments. I would advise people to stay well clear of this place as it totally ruined our break away.
