“HAD A GREAT 4 DAY STAY”

IT WAS VERY AFFORDABLE, & SO CLOSE TO EVERYTHING. YOU ARE IN SHORT DRIVING DISTANCE FROM RIVER STREET ALSO. IT HAD A NICE STANDARD SIZE SWIMMING POOL WHICH WAS OPEN TILL 10 PM & WE WERE RIGHT BETWEEN I HOP & WENDYS & TACO BELL. THEY ALSO HAD DRY CEREAL & DONUTS WITH COFFEE OR MILK OR ORANGE JUICE OR APPLE JUICE FOR BREAKFAST. I WOULD DEF. BE RETURNING WITH MY FAMILY.

“super location”

Visitors to Savannah on a budget will find this hotel in an excellent location by the Oglethorpe Mall. Almost all themajor franchise restaurants are located very close by; you have your choice of where and what to dine. That plus all the fast food locations and 24 hour Dominos make tis location excellent. All the other stores are a bonus, such as Lowes, Sears, Belk, Barnes and Noble and on and on. While the hotel is Days Inn basic (you know what to expect) the location is great.

“Will stay there again.”

For the price it was well worth it. The room was very clean. The pool was nice. There was a restaurant on site, a variety of restaurants within walking distance and a mall directly across the street. I will definitely stay there again the next time I go to Savannah to visit my granddaughter who is attending college there.

“Good Location for Afordable Savannah stay”

Located across from the Oglethorpe Mall and on the bus route to downtown, this Days Inn made a great place to stay for the St. Patrick's Day Parade and festivities in Savannah. Basic amenities, but a clean and comfortable room .

“Pleasantly Surprised”

I had to find a room at the last minute for the 100th Anniversary of Girls Scouts. This was the best price in the area with a known name. With previous reviews I was really nervous that there would be bugs and dirty sheets so I came prepared but luckily I did not have to use any cleaning products. Its a older hotel with old furniture, old carpet, old bathtubs etc but none the less it was quiet, comfortable and cheap!

“cheeper by the night”

Everything was as nice as it could be for the price, The hotel could use a little update but overall it was fine for a family on a budget, The only thing that we didn't like was, we didn't want maid service well we were there, but we need clean towels, when we call the front desk and ask for some clean towels we were told no, I do think that maybe the front desk should have access to clean towels.

“For a Days Inn...”

For a Days Inn it was pretty typical. Overall it was a little shabby, but the beds were clean and comfortable and that is all that really matters. The service was good--they were patient and helpful when expedia hadn't called in our reservation and got it all sorted out for us.

“Not Clean!”

Honestly, When I got there it looked like the Maid just did a quick "one two" in the room. The sink may have been wiped out but it was dirty. There were dirty marks on the side of the tub and the bathroom floor....I hate to say it but clearly was not swept because there were pubic hairs on it!!!!! The microvwave was also gross and has slimy hand marks on it.After seeing everything like this is made me question whether I had fresh sheets. I was thouroughly disgusted! The only benefit to this hotel was that it is in a good location. Definitley would not recommend this hotel to any based on the condition of the rooms. The Staff are very cordial though.

“Yuck”

The staff was extremely pleasant. The mattresses looked almost new & the carpet in our room looked almost new. The room door was falling apart & was very difficult to close. The bathroom door was falling apart & couldn't be closed. The TV stations on the channel listing provided in the room mostly didn't come in clearly enough to watch. The remote didn't work. The light over the sink didn't work most of the time. Everything in the room was unplugged when we arrived except for the refrigerator which was plugged in but turned off & it took about 12 hours to get it cold enough to be used. The HVAC unit was even unplugged & the plug for it is under the unit & not so easy to plug in. A room on the way to ours was totally demolished. There was no bed in the room, but everything else in the room was thrown all over the place. Not sure what was going on. For half of our stay, the door to that room was open, but no one was doing anything with it. There was a door to another room near ours that was removed and leaned against the upstairs railing. There were about 60+ young guys (pretty sure they were a fraternity on Spring Break) staying in the hotel that started chanting/yelling for a few minutes Saturday night. Someone did tell them to quiet down & we didn't hear anything else from them the rest of our stay. The location was pretty good since the mall was across the street & everything was very accessible.
