“Beautiful Family Holiday”
From the moment of the booking to landing, collecting the hire car, driving to the hotel and settling in....I was very impressed with the service from both Expedia and Insotel Club Tarida Beach. It was professional and made the holiday so much more enjoyable and relaxing. The rooms were extremely well furnished, modern and just what youd expect from a 4* resort and then some. Meals were plentiful and if you did enjoy them you were fussy, cos they catered for all tastes....really massive spread and great local beer all inclusive, what more could you ask for. The kids facilities and entertainment was topnotch as was the service from very friendly staff, without doubt one of the best, relaxing holidays I've enjoyed abroad. You can certainly expect to see us back again....
“lovely hotel”
came back 2nd september after having a week half board.lovely clean comfortable hotel although in middle of nowhere, fine if you hire a car.Bus a few hundred yards away takes you into san antonio or ibiza town. food great couldnt fault it, find it very hard to believe what previous person has said but everyone has their own opinion. Drinks with meals were included in half board a bonus I wasnt expecting!
“Would like to go back in the near future”
Everything about the hotel was lovely clean, spacious, staff all some varying degrees of English and very helpful. It is a pity that they were nearing their shut down period and not fully booked, which would have given the place a livelier atmosphere. Also there was no local buses to take guest into the town centre, which meant a lot of money was spent on taxis, and if traveling alone one was not sure if one was being overcharged. The only other fault I found was that there was a realy bad smell of drains or cest pit around the entrance which was meant for guests to carry their luggage to the various Studio apartments otherwise the views were absolutely breath-taking
“Ideal family holiday hotel”
Lovely atmosphere with friendly helpful staff, well tended grounds and clean rooms with daily maid service provided. This hotel sits right on top of an almost private beach area, there is a diving centre, a choice of swimming pools all with life guard attendance, day-time activities for adults and children (volley ball, archery, aqua-keep fit, dancing, kids club) with evening entertainment (caberet, magic show, dancing). The food was excellent with exceptional choice and variety. A supermarket with slightly inflated prices in the complex, but a cheaper beach shop and alternative supermarket selling lovely fresh fruit very close by (the hotel staff were more than happy to provide directions). The noise levels were low with the hotel's policy of quiet after 11pm being adhered to.
“Very pleasant hotel!”
The frontage, pool area and grounds of the hotel were really lovely. Location was great as it was right on the beach. As it was the last week in sept that we stayed it was fairly quiet however I imagine the pool areas/restaurants would be heaving with children in peak season. My only complaint was the quality of the beds! All rooms in the hotel had single beds, which were joined if you had booked a double room. That would be fine but they were really flimsy, moved about if you even rolled over and the mattresses were about 3 inches thick! It was a shame because everything else about the hotel was so nice, clean and well kept. They were just not four star beds in relation to the hotel's offical four star rating. Overall we had a great holiday!
“Great for the little ones!”
We spent 4 nights at this Hotel during the last week of August 2007, as a bit of a break before our 4 year old son started 'big' school. He (and his 16 month old sister) thought it was fantastic. The whole resort is very well set up for small children, with the baby & toddler pools and being right on the beach. The beach itself is really lovely, and very polular. There are a couple of really nice restaurants on the beach if you fancy a nice lunch. We stayed half board at the Hotel and found that the 'snack bar' lunch menu was limited and not ideal (pre-packed sandwiches or hot dogs). The resort is really set up to cater better for the all-inclusive guests. The only thing I would say is that, due to it location on the side of a hill, getting about could be an issue to anyone with walking difficulties - its quite steep in places. All in all, however, a great hotel and we would definately not hesitate to go back.
“Nice Hotel but miles out”
I went to this hotel with my partner and two children in july 07,The hotel was very clean and modern but the food and drink are very expensive and not aimed at english people at all we found little or nothing on the menu's suitable for adults and absolutely nothing for children. The staff speak little or no english so something as simple as ordering a drink can be a challenge. The entertainment was average but could have been better had it not been axplained in 10 languages...a twenty minute show took 2 hours. There is however a frequent bus from a bus stop a short walk from the hotel(via heart attack hill) which goes to san antonio and takes about twenty minutes there you will find reasonably priced food and drink for example 1 large beer 1 small beer and two cokes at the hotel would cost about 15 euro's in san antonio it would cost about 9 euros.the hotel is isolated and it takes full advantage of that fact with it's prices. It does have its own beach which is about 10 min walk however the hotel is on a hill and walking back from the beach in 37c is no fun at all.We stayed here on a half board basis but we ended up paying for breakfast elsewhere as the food was not at all appealing so be warned if your thinking of choosing the all inc option. If you are not a fussy eater and don't mind spending 140 euro's a day on food thats not great and are into moutaineering then this is the place for you.
“Not as good as it used to be...”
We stayed here in 2005 & had a fabulous time...which is why we chose to return in 2010. However, we were not as impressed this time around. We arrived late, so I decided to shower. I turned on the shower, took off my clothes, & stepped into a bath tub ankle-deep of water. My husband had to fix it by unclogging a drain FULL of hair; with that in mind, how was it ever even cleaned? When we reported it, the staff seemed to think, "well, they fixed it so we don't have to." I had to request maintenance come & snake the drain out. The majority of the entertainment is for children. Yes, it's a family resort, but there used to be an Adult Disco in the evenings... now it's all about the kids. Everything for kids & nothing for adult entertainment in the evenings except the amateur theater act. We also found the staff to be ruder than our previous stay. While it's probably still a good resort for families, it is no longer a good resort for couples with no children looking for a nice time on the quieter side of the island. We will probably not choose this particular Insotel again.
“ok if you like loud music and screaming children.”
We chose this hotel because it was described as 'lively'. by that we didnt realise that we wouldnt get 'a minute's peace'. our children are 13 and 9 years old so we wanted to go somewhere with other children around. but the only two pools - not enough for a hotel of this size -incidentally it's huge - had either music blaring all day and inane 'activities' with staff pestoring you to join in - or the alternative, naked toddlers running round screaming and peeing where they felt the urge to. although we were fully inclusive and the food was excellent - mealtimes were a 'free for all' so we ended up eating out 3 nights out of the 6 we were there. on the plus side the staff were helpful and polite - although bore a slightly long suffering air. if you want noisy then it's the place for you!
“20 Euros for a Taxi Call !!!”
Dont be excited. This hotel called a Insotel Club Tarida Beach but you have to pay 18 Euros for sunbeds and umbrella at the beach ! Dont be fool this is a 4 star hotel but they charge 3,5 euros each day for safe use ! You want to go to Ibiza ? Taxi is the best way right ? No, because they ask 20 Euros to call a taxi because they dont trust you if you escape before taking a taxi or not, then taxi comes and returns without customer ! You expect a good room service from a 4 star hotel right ? Yeah, sure, you will find your clean! towels in front of the door in a bag if you dont want to be disturbed. As a conclusion, dont even think about stay at this hotel if you dont want to throw your money to street and to have fun from Ibiza Nightlife.
