“Beautiful Condo”

The whole complex was beautiful. The Condo, pool, gym and the whole gated community was very classy. Very quiet and peaceful. The pool area was wonderful except that I wish it could have been 8ft instead of only 5ft deep. Rather than that, the place was wonderful.

It is a condo which is nice if you like feeling more at home. Will be staying here again! Right down the road from Legoland & pick your own strawberry farm. My kids had alot of fun.

This place was beautiful! The pool was warm, the condo was clean, spacious, and inviting. It was in a central location, and down the street from Legoland! I was really impressed with how nice this place was, the photos don't do it justice. I would absolutely stay here again!

I stayed at the Wimdsor at Aviara and it was a very pleasurable experience. The condo was clean and the amenties were fanatastic. It was very centrally located to San Diego and the Beaches. I would stay there anytime I am in the area.

“Nice but not worth the money”

The two bedrooms, two baths, full kitchen, laundry room, dinning room, and kitchen were certainly nice to have and made our stay comfortable but keep in mind that this is not a hotel and does not have room service or maid service. This is a gated appartment complex that is not owned by Sonoran Suits and so they are not physically on the premises. Pacific View leases appartments to individuals and Sonoran Suits Leases some of these apartments from Pacific View and rents them to the public. When my front gate code worked, it worked on the wrong gate so I hade to drive around the complex before getting to my room. I could not find the key to the pool area so we didn't get to swim much. If you do not clean the entire appartment throughly you get charged quite a bit of money (if I'm paying that much money a night, I shouldn't have to do the maid service.) The place itself was very nice but there was to many dificulties to pay as much as they charge.

“Great Deal, But Watch Out....”

Sonoran Suites rents out vacation condos and apartments, and in this case they have some fabulous units at the Mirabella, a high-end apartment community - gated, no less - in Aviara, a ritzy, high-end Carlsbad development. While our home was being tented, we got a wonderful two-bedroom condo for the price of a cheap motel room on the side of the freeway. Everything was great about the place...except for the lack of Internet Wi-Fi. There is a business center, but Sonoran refused to issue us a key card, telling us only after we were already in the suite that we would have to buy a temporary key card for an additional $25. They need to be upfront about things like this - in this day and age, Internet access is a given.

“Great Stay!”

After searching for a decent hotel near Legoland, we found this condo/hotel w/ great facilities, 2 separate bedrooms/2 baths, living room and fully equipped kitchen. This is only 3-5 minutes away from legoland. I strongly recommend this place to families w/ young kids if they don't like to go out for meals. The price is fair with all these amenities.

“Recommended with hesitation”

I stayed at the Sonoran Suites Pacific View in Carlsbad with my 4 children in August 2006. The check in procedure went very smoothly. The company emailed us the lock box code ahead of time and we had no problem getting into our room when we arrived past midnight. The 3Br unit was spacious and well appointed. I particularly liked the flexibility of having either a king bed or two twin beds in each bedroom. The pool was wonderful, heated and well maintained and the workout facility was also very nice with all the machines you would expect. My biggest complaint about the facility was that the units are not at all well soundproofed. From our room on the second floor, with windows closed and air conditioning on, we could still hear every car that drove by in the parking lot all night long, as well as and footsteps passing by on the sidewalk! Normally I am a very heavy sleeper, but found the outside noise level very disrupting at this site. Additionally, since this is in a large apartment complex, many of the neighbors are young singles who seemed to like to stay up late (2 am ish) on their balconies partying and talking loudly. If this type of thing bothers you, I would not recommend you stay here. Other than that, it was a very nicely appointed and well maintained location.

“This is an Apartment Complex!!!”

The rooms are great in the place about 1,200 sf. However the place in San Diego is actually an apartment complex with actual tenats that live there. I dont think they were real excited aout having guests stay in the complex. As far as we could tell we were the only ones in our building that were visitors. Overall it was a great place to stay with lots of room - but keep in mind - it is not a hotel and there are no employees there.
