“Great accommodation.”

Quiet. Clean, Close to the shopping street and the main sightseeing attractions, including the castle.

“Backmulde Gasstatte”

Location is in the old Heidleberg from the main train station with bags it is not really a walking option. We took a taxi which cost us 10 euro and they had us at the hotel entrance in no time which if we had walked may not have found that easy. The hotel itself was lovely. Staff were very courteous, breakfast was pleasing and the room was spacious. They have a restaurant serving evening meals and if you require some fine dining to break up your trip I recommend that you try as we had a lovely dinner. Location to the old town, it was right in the middle so restaurants, bars, the Schloss or shopping were at your fingertips. Wifi was available but reception was not all that flash. If you don't have a computer then there are internet cafes in town but they are close to Bismark Square which is a long stroll if you are wanting to go every day. Would I stay in this hotel again? in a heartbeat! thanks people we had a lovely time.
