“Pleasantly Amazed”

Pleasantly Amazed! Hotel Dolce Villa is in the central plaza of the Providence version of Little Italy, and the culinary heart of the city. You can walk to at least half a dozen great restaurants and cafes. This beautiful, new, clean, white, and modern hotel is laid out in a way that offers privacy to guests, yet at the same time gives them the personal touch. Our room had stylish martini glasses and a cocktail shaker in the fully furnished kitchen. I don't mean a hotplate in a corner; this room had a full refrigerator, stove, counters, and cabinets filled with everything you would need to live there, and we wished we could. There was a TV with DVD player, a CD-player alarm clock: and this all completely amazed me for the modest price of the hotel. But I was completely won over by the yellow ducky in corner of the bathtub. Oh, and also, valet parking was so welcome, in this part of town, where it is extremely difficult to find parking.

“Wonderful kick-off to Sweet New England”

Dolce Villa was a way cool way to kick start our 2 week road trip up the coast. Hotel was unique, chic and sophisticated and the adorable and friendly neighborhood of Federal Hill AKA Little Italy was so much fun...a real "mom and pop" neighborhood!

“I like it”

To my surprise, we got a so lovely family style hotel room with full kitchen, especially with high quality utentals and appliance. The only thing I feel is the decoration looks cold.

“Great gem”

The location of this hotel is fabulous-- right in the middle of Federal Hill, the Italian section of Providence. Can walk to several restauarants and bars. Especially liked the temperapedic mattresses and pillows. There was enough room for 6 people to stay in our room-- 2 separate bedrooms and a pull out sofa.

“Great Location w/ Beautiful room”

The rooms are clean and the bed and pillows were sooooo comfortable. The small plaza out front was a lively place with lots of great resturants close by.

“A great place to stay in Providence”

Great service, great rooms (suites), walking distance to downtown convention center. Located in 'revitalized' neighborhood.

“Totally Recommend It...”

This was our 2nd stay. An excellent alternative to big chains. Cheaper, too! Totally white rooms make cleanliness impossible to skimp on, and it was spotless. Air conditioner was on high when we arrived, which was a pleasure on a hot, humid day. Also, it's right in the middle of a charming little plaza in "little Italy". We'll be back!

“A terrific small hotel in a wonderful neighborhood”

I'd not have known of the Dolce Villa except for Expedia ... and what a find! A beautiful small hotel, set in a very atomosphere square in the old Italian neighborhood of Federal Hill. Just a few steps away is an Italian deli to die for ... lobster ravioli, pumpkin ravioli, great bread. Small shops, a great pedestrian atmosphere. I won't stay in any other hotel in Providence from now on.

“We loved it”

The hotel staff couldn't have been nicer and more accomommodating. We loved the white on white decor. The room was so clean it looked like we were the first quests in our suite. The three story hotel doesn't have an elevator, which wasn't a problem for us. We loved this small European style hotel with a personal touch.
