“Simple amenities and poor food.”

Stayed at this hotel overnight waiting for a flight out of Port Blair. The first thing I noticed was a big sign saying that I shouldn't leave valuables in my room, as the hotel was not responsible for them. I guess I might as well have slept on the street. The food in the morning was delivered by a waiter with extremely limited english skills, who brought hot milk when we asked for cold, omelets when we asked for boiled eggs, and no cereal when we asked for some. Even the typically reliable chai had a very odd flavor. We went to the Hotel Megapode for breakfast afterwards and had a much better experience, including multiple nice bird sightings and a great view of the ocean.
