Our breakfasts are designed for pure enjoyment, whether it be a full English, a classic, continental or the healthy optionOf course we like it when you stay overnight and eat in our restaurant and to show our delight we offer a discount on all pub and restaurant food of 10%.

Dining

We have two distinct menus: A high quality but really good value restaurant menu with daily specials. The menu is fairly small to ensure the food is fresh and cooked on the premises. We maximise local sourcing of produce including from the hedgerows of Oxfordshire see Restaurant Menu and the Wine List and a variety of coffees. A bar menu with honest to goodness pub food but of an unusually high quality and presentation.

“Pleasant Surprise.”

The Unicorn Inn delivers much more than expected. It dates from 1706 so is heavily beamed and delightfully quirky.The staff were both friendly and helpful and both breakfasts and dinner were excellent. Saskia has helped to transform the bar/restaurant and garden areas, using her artistic talents with comprimising on character...she now plans to update the bedrooms. We hope to return to this interesting Inn and surrounding villages, after all, the local bus delivers you into the heart of Oxford in under an hour which is very useful for those wishing to leave their car at home.

“Delightful stay at The Unicornn Inn.”

We had an excellent stay, the new owner could not do enough througout our stay the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had an evening meal which was excellent. We were there on the last Saturday of the month when there is a farmers market immediately outside the pub which was absolutely delightful. I'd reccomend this to anyone, the only fly in the marmalade was that we booked B&B through Expedea and on leaving whilst settling the bill I noticed that we were charged for tea & coffee, this turned out to be the tea & coffee we had with our breakfest!
