Ma Wan is an eco-island; only vehicles with valid permits issued by Transport Department are allowed. Taxi service is available weekdays from 10 AM - 7 AM. Please note: entry is not permitted from 7:01 AM -09:59 AM. On weekends and public holidays service is available from 8 PM - 7 AM. Entry is not permitted from 7:01 AM -9:59 PM.
Park Island public transport to Noah's Ark can be accessed at the airport (T2, coach terminus): NR334 (6:00-0:00) Tsing Yi (MTR Exit C): NR330 (24 hrs), Kwan Fong: NR332, and Tsuen Wan: NR331. Guests have to take a 5-10 minute walk from the Park Island bus stop to the Noah's Ark entrance located on the 3rd floor of Noah's Ark.

“Great value”

This two year old quirky property is a great value compared to regular hotels if you do not mind sleeping in a bunk bed. Kids will love it. They do have a few rooms with two twin beds they call the hotel rooms. Breakfast is great as long as you like scrambled eggs, noodles and toast, no fruit or juice. Desk staff is very helpful, but never managed to get burned out bulbs replaced in the bathroom after 4 days. Perhaps they are trying to save electricity? Fantastic view outside of the harbor and the bridge going to Ma-Wan. The hotel is literally underneath the huge suspension bridge. The plenum supplied AC worked well despite the 90+ temperatures outside. Free wi-fi worked well in our room, but some rooms may have a weak signal. Cars are not allowed on this island, but who needs one when you have an octopus card? One other quirk: no electric outlets at all in the bathroom so if you need to shave (in the shadows of dim lights) you will either need a long extension cord or good batteries in the shaver.
