“Excellent Location”

It is very accessible to the beach and to everything around Waikiki. There is a mexican-caribbean restaurant right next door which serves awesome food. Although I didn't have problem finding parking, there were times of concern because there are few parking spaces. I would stay at the hotel again. One thing I wasn't a bit happy was that had I not gone to my room during the day the next day I registered and checked my messages I would have been charged for the safe. They should mention this upon arrival.

“Good for the money, will use again if given the chance.”

Good location, clean room and linens, equipped kitchen and working appliances, good air conditioning; just be prepared for front desk being open only from 7 am to 7 pm.

“Great location and value for money.”

This hotel is in a great location in the Wakiki area. The hotel doesn't have many additional facilities, but it's location supports it not needing to. The restaurant was closed when we were thers, so we can't comment on that, but the staf were very nice and the room was value for money. I would stay there again and recommend it to others.

“I'll do this agian”

The room was the right size for my daughters and their friends. We had 2 rooms for 1 night but I wish that we stayed for the weekend. Service was great and the parking attendent was like the "BEST".

“Needs Renovating”

The Marine Surf is one of the older condotels in Waikiki built in the 1960's. On the plus side the room is larger than most hotel rooms with a nice kitchenette including a large refrigerator and lots of cupboards. On the negative side the carpet and wall coverings need to be replaced. There is no outlet for the steam produced when showering. Therefore there is a musty and moldy smell as you enter the room. This smell is also found in the kitchenette cupboards. Finally, the hotel is located across from a nightclub that stays open until 4 AM. The crowd is loud and rowdy with the police showing up often. If you like to sleep with the window open, this hotel is not located well for this. Elevators broke down often while I was there.

“Nice for the price, front end staff could of been more helpful.”

We had a nice stay, the room was nice had sum what of view of the ocean and Diamond Head. The one thing I was not pleased with was that we had rented a car upon arrival when we got to the hotel there was no were to park this site has only about 8 pay to park spots theyn suggested we try the hotel next to them but they did not have any spaces either so we ended up taking the car back and taking a bus back from the airport.

“best for on the budget”

This hotel fit what we were looking for, gives the cheapest hotel parking fee in town, it is at the very center were all the actions in Waikiki is.It was our family's first trip to Hawaii and everybody is very happy with the location-2 blocks or minutes walk to the beach, few steps to International Market Place, bus or trolley stops and shopping centers.
