“Great location”
Great location, a little noisy on Saturday night. Alot of kids running in the halls, but Sunday night very quiet. Overall a great location, no problems, they did charge extra for parking.
“A Nice Family Vacation”
The hotel was great for the price, can't beat the location. Pool and Hot Tub were extremely crowded, tons of little kids, ages 5 and up were in the hot tub w/ and w/o Parents, life guard did not do anything about the amount of people in hot tub, max was noted as 10 and at one point there were 24 of us in it, I could not even get out, there was maybe one or two jets working, so needless to say I wanted out since it was like a community bathtub w/ some folks looking like they could use some soap and at one point a little girl got out and sat on the edge and was literally holding herself because she had to use the restroom but, her Mom " just got in" and she and the Dad told the little one to just get back in, Clearly at that point My Husband and I jumped out over the edge as graceful as possible with 22 other people in there, not allowing to use the stairs or even get near them. This should be controlled. and the breakfast was worse, food good but, no etiquette and unless you elbowed your way through like the others you didn't get anything, which my Husband and I were not going to battle for a bagel, thankfully Tim Horton's was right there. They should really look at controlling the pool/hot tub area and not allow young children in the hot tub with or with out parents.
“great location.. but look out if you are handicapped”
I stated most of this above. I would also like to add that alot of the attractions are not handicapped friendly either. I went into ripleys believe it or not next door and got stuck trying to make the corner leaving it. Went to the wax museum and part of it was only accessible by stairs. I went to the movieland wax museum and they did have a lift but my scooter woudlnt fit in it and had to be dragged down the stairs. Tried going to guinness book of records and they ONLY had stairs. One place we did find was a theater a couple streets behind that had an illusionist show and that was worth the whole trip! also was handicapped accessible. I dont believe this hotel had any elevators either. Overall, if you are mobile, its a great location and would stay there again due to the location. If you arent, I would avoid it. I can walk with a cane, so I did get to use the pool and hot tub but otherwise woudlnt have been able to. Check out was great also. very friendly and helpful if you had any questions about the attractions.
“Loved staying there, we can't wait to go back”
Comfort inn Clifton Hill is a great place to stay. We felt very welcome. The lady who took care of our room was always around and very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The location was perfect, right in the middle of the fun. They have an excellent free breakfast and free parking too. We will stay there again.
“Comfor Inn Clifton Hills, Niagra Falls, ON”
Great price for it's location. Within walking distance to falls and everything inbetween. Free parking and a decent resturant attached. Pool was great for the kids and service was polite.
“Comfortable hotel and good location.”
It is a comfortable hotel and well located. If I visit again Niagara Falls I will go back to this hotel.
“Location, Location, Location”
I found this hotel the prefect location, I went with my senior mom and I could have not ask for a better vacation. It was walking distance from the falls, casino and Clifton Hill. The hotel was great, and so was the food and service, the swimming pool and best of all it had free parking.
“Good value for $ hotel”
Only stayed at Comfort Inn Clifton Hill for 1 night in early Oct 09 & found it to be a good hotel overall. We have a room with 2 queen beds & it was huge. Room was very clean. Hotel was able to let us check in several hours early which was handy. Included breakie was reasonable - cereals, muffins, toast, juices, bagels etc. Enough to start your day. There is a large parking area at the rear of the hotel which was included in room rate. Indoor pool & spa area was good. Hotel is an easy downhill 2 block walk from the falls themselves. We found the surrounding area of Clifton Hill to be a little too 'touristy' for us - kind of takes away from the beauty of the falls. Just felt like you were in an amusement park with cheap sideshows etc If you are looking for a basic clean hotel - then this one will tick all the boxes.
“Priced right but older facility”
This is an older Hotel and the layout is chopped up. Can not see the Falls from this Hotel and it's right in the heart of the touristy shopping area.
“Excellent location and value!”
This hotel is located in the heart of Clifton Hill area where you'll find various attractions, Horseshoe Falls, Casino, and restaurants are within easy walking distance. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and in-room coffee was provided. Big value for little money. I'd definitely go back. No elevator though, but free parking!
