“ARE YOU SERIOUS??????”
When we showed up, we were informed we had to pay parking? There were 3 other cars in the parking lot. We then were given the wrong room. Paid for riverview king and got a view of the roof of the pool and the surrounding parking lot. Third floor room, NO ELEVATOR. After we climbed up the stairs to the room I called and informed the manager that it was not what I paid for. He said you come and I change the room for you. I did and after going down the 3 flights and back up 4 flights of stairs realized it was the wrong room again. Still parking lot view but this time a queen bed to boot. Buffet Breakfast posted everywhere, we went to the restaurant noone was even there. We thought they accidentallt left the loaf of bread, 4 muffins and 5 bagels out. Little did we know, that was the buffet. The coffee pot in the room was broken and the air only worked half way. The next day we were scheduled to change rooms but only if the maid showed up to clean it. It was after 4 pm the next day before we could get settled into our room. At 6:30 we got a call from the front desk saying the police were coming to check rooms because someone had tried getting in to a guests room. That made for a great nights rest. NEVER EVER AGAIN. Please do yourself a favor, DON'T STAY HERE!!
“It was pretty far from the Falls.. but it worked for us this time”
The hotel was okay... Little on the old side, but overall it was fine for the weekend. Restuarant was closed and it was under new management and I think they were just trying to get the business under control.. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.
“was "ok"”
it was pretty poor maintained and cleaned, bathroom needed some good cleaning job, the tub looked like was dirty (guess it changed color to grey over time, so it never be white again, but it means it's time to replace it with a new one). Well, for a one night we were there, it was ok considering pretty low price we payed.
“lucy”
The manager was rude. The washroom sink and area were not up to standards. At first the room was very hot to be in , and I had a hard time adjusting the air flow due to parts of it was broken. I would definately never stay there ever again.
“Niagara falls a must see in person”
The hotel needs to look into providing free shuttle service to and from the falls again.
“Loved the price, the closeness to the activities”
For the price we loved the place, they did charge $10.00 a night parking, but the price was still reasonable and was in close proximity to the activities of Niagra Falls
“I was not impressed”
We didn't have the river view at all. We changed the room and the other room didn't have air conditioning....the bathroom was too small and not too clean, for us inconvenience. We were not happy at all. Sorry...
“Decent price for a budget stay at the Falls”
While at the Falls, we didn't stay in the room too much, but the beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean and a good size for the weekend stay. Great price for a 3 night stay on a budget. However, the bathtub faucet was an inconvenience (couldn't take a shower without a heavy stream flowing from the faucet, water accumulated up to my shins during a short shower) and even after maintenance got to it, the faucet did not function properly. Good location and comfortable rooms next to the river, but maybe a lackadaisical approach to customer satisfaction. The hotel is apparently under new management, so perhaps this will change as they become more familiar with the workings of their hotel.
“AC not working, hotel ran out of bath soap”
AC was not working, and I had to change room at 1AM , There was no bath soap, front desk told that hotel ran out of Soaps. No microwave in room and even common one was not working.. Receptionist was helpful though.
“Great for the money”
The hotel was ok. We were out and about all day long so really it was great to sleep in . It's not for someone who is a spoiled snob but as i said it was great for just a sleep stop. We were busy at the winery casino and had a great dinner at the college of niagara culinary school which was awesome. So we saved on the hotel but went all out on dinner and spent a few bucks at the casino. You must do the wineries. Especially Joseph's winery great times good wine. oh ya go and visit Niagara on the lake nice little town.
